"This is a great-looking rifle that performs well in a variety of circumstances out of the box. Load it up with slightly heavier .25s, and you'll shoot consistently whether you're up close or a little farther out. I'd imagine simple, common-sense upgrades would really push this thing into a new category without breaking the bank, if you went that route.

It's also nice and light for its size, so compared to other rifles with more heft, it's easy to carry this thing round after round. Honestly, it feels more like carrying something made of polycarbonate plastic than metal, but it's plenty durable.

A couple minor annoyances that can be fixed, probably with electrical tape: The faux bolt catch and the trigger guard aren't completely secured, so they introduce a little bit of rattle when handling. It would be nice if they fit better, but again, not hard to really fix.

All in all, this thing feels great for the price point. Very happy with mine!

"Alrighty… just to get this started I just gotta say, I LOVE this gun. I bought this after looking at it and researching my options for around 2 years now. And did I have my doubts with it? Yes. But this guy proved to me why I desired to buy this rifle. I bought the M4A1 RIS with the longer barrel. (I think it’s 14.5 if I remember right) with that barrel length and being able to throw an 11.1 lipo battery in there, I was hitting shots from around 150ish feet with ease. But sadly, there is no perfect airsoft gun out there. But here’s my Pros and Cons…

Pros
— This rifle comes with 2 mid caps the feed very well and have no wiggle in the mag well
—This rifle has that non programmable mosfet system so you can run 11.1 lipos in it with no sweat.
— Has an adaptor for any little tamiya connector guy out there
— All attachments on this guy that I got have no wiggle room on it and fit pretty snug (including the forward grip it comes with)
— the quick spring change system is simple and fast for on the field swaps
— full body is almost full aluminum or steel, only parts that aren’t are the stock and hand grip. (Including the forward grip it comes with)


Cons
—Across the forward grip on mine, it had a little wiggle, but I fixed that by putting foam to make the connection a little tighter right nearby the fixed sight
—battery area is about what you can imagine compared to those machine gun stock wired replicas.

To be honest, after around 10ish games with this rifle, I’d always heavily relied on this guy to stay in good shape for my always having problems with guns do to dropping them, and accidentally hitting it on things. But I’ve already done that with this one and it is holding on really strong, with the full body (other than stock and hang grip) being aluminum and steel, I would always have that “oh no!” But I would know that it’s gonna be fine, just with battle scars. Anyway, I hope I’ve helped a little bit in if this gun is what your looking for.

When a gun is wired to deans from the factory you know it's gonna slap. This is probably among the best starter guns out there.
I got the SBR model and it is perfection. With my matrix 11.1 LiPo (which it can handle out of the box because of the mosfet) it has excellent trigger response. My field only allows semi auto for rifles, and it's a godsend in that category. It is fairly lightweight at just over 5 pounds, and I have no trouble carrying it all day.

The handguard and stock were fairly wobbly, but a bit of tape where the handguard interfaces with the receiver helped, and I put the fuzzy side of a piece of velcro under the stock which completely eliminated the wobble.

This performs excellently out of the box, and if you're considering this you will not be disappointed.
