"I have had a lot of issues with gas pistols. I don't like to clean them after everytime I use it or have to replace parts right when I get it or field it because a small plastic pieces broke or something. But I have had 0 issues with this pistol vx7 x80 version has held me strong as a side arm for over a year now. Mag catch has no ware I'm kinda shocked, when you first use it some paint might come off from mag catch. The ejection port has most ware for metal parts on mine and that won't effect its performance at all. Otherwise most dmg that I can see is like smudge lines on polymer body were it rubbed on harder surfaces but didn't scratch it. It's smooth just kinda smudged if that makes sense. I'm a lefty but it has a long mag release button that's easy to press even as a lefty. I squash it with my middle finger and works everytime but with no gloves it does ware my finger down squashing that mag release. The slide is really easy to rack but it does a have a hard catch like halfway through racking it. I thought it would stop doing this after break it in but still has it. If you rack it kinda weak it might not fully rack and get stuck halfway for a sec, but still works. It's been doing this from the start so no its not becuase she is dirty. If you get the optic slide ready lock tight or us thread tap whatever you want that's not permanent. Lock those screws down if you arent using a optic or you'll lose one. They are really small too so dosent take much for them to back out and fall out. Oh and the compansater that comes with merc with a mouth. The threading for it just keep backing out so I locktight that as well. Mags are decently priced and not horrible on gas consumption def not amazing. Cooling my mags then filling them I can get maybe 1 and half mags maybe. Just filling them normally lucky to get 17 rounds before mag poops. Using standard green gas for my test, used 5 dif mags and its typically cold were I live so take that into consideration.

Only thing kinda odd is my bb follower has a small floppy plastic piece that didn't get cut off. I tried to pull it off but decide to leave it when it wanted to stay. It hasn't caused any feeding issues but it's obviously not suppose to be there.

9/10 would totally buy again if it was better on gas easy 10/10 for me.

"I have this gun and I like it so far. Snappy action and fun to shoot. Not the most accurate but its good for close range.

"From what I can tell you aren't breaking this gun. I've tested it on 150psi heavy gas and that's the only gas I have and no issues. The efficiency you will get about 2.5 mags before it loses the ability for the slide to lock back but you can get 3 .5 mags before it won't shoot anything but of course the power will drop. However I wouldn't push it on red gas which is 185psi. You can also run this on CO2 and black gas durring the winter. It still does get a little cold in Utah.
The only thing about the optics version which is what I got is the mags can be hard to come by at times.
The gas efficiency horrendous otherwise. you will probably get only 5 shots before it runs out. You can convert existing Glock mags by buying the gar routes. Ann you need is a hammer and a punch and you knock the pin out of the top being very careful because you don't want the launch the follower somewhere and lose it. Then switch out the gas route. Unfortunately those aren't easy to find because people will buy them all up if the mags aren't available. I was going to do that when I saw the mags were going to be on backorder but of course that's not how it turned out. It's also essential if you want to run co2

It can also hop .32's. aw pistols are known to do that..weather or not you chose to do that is up to you. I will still only use .25's because the bucking tends to wear out quickly. That's how aw is. They are unbelievable out of the box but once you use it once in a blue moon for 2 months is worn out but will still still shoot just as good as someone's brand new krytac pistol. (Forgot the name). But other than that this gun doesn't need any upgrades until something breaks. Just run it until it breaks then buy the replacement parts.and be sure to locktite the screws for the rmr cutout and bb hosing.
