The Trident MK2 CRB-M utilizes a 10.5 barrel and 10 free floating, licensed KRISS® TR210, M-LOK hand guard. The KRISS® hand guard features three prongs at the front that can be used to brace the gun against barricades, eliminating the need for an aftermarket barricade stop rail accessory. The MK2 aluminum receivers feature a modern design with a stamped KRYTAC logo and includes an integrated enlarged trigger guard. An originally designed KRISS® pistol grip enhances the rifles comfort and grip. Additional features, ambidextrous fire selector and a locking bolt that provides easy access to the KRYTAC rotary hop-up system. The KRYTAC rotary hop-up has 15 adjustment settings and a numbered adjustment wheel for a quick reference point to determine how much hop is needed. The KRYTAC adjustable battery stock features two different battery configurations, nunchuck style batteries can fit in the tubes or a small lithium polymer brick battery can fit at the rear of the stock in front of the buttpad. A third battery option for the Trident MK2 CRB is a stick battery in the buffer tube. The stock also features two QD sling swivel divots as well as a loop for strap type sling attachments. The Trident MK2 CRB features the latest in shooting sports technology and it has the internals to back them up.
Internally, the Trident MK2 CRB features a reinforced 8mm ball bearing gearbox with integrated MOSFET to regulate electronic signals and to protect the trigger contacts. The corners of the gearbox that surround the cylinder feature a smooth radius, as opposed to a 90 angle, to prevent fracture. Also, the gearbox shell features a small window on the left side where lubrication can be applied directly to the gears or piston, this window is also convenient for inspecting the angle of engagement with the gearbox fully assembled. Additional gearbox features include a modular spring guide system that will allow the spring to be changed without completely disassembling the gearbox. The KRYTAC piston is made of a durable, lightweight polymer and features 4 metal teeth, with the 2nd to last tooth absent. The Cylinder head is padded with an enlarged rubber bumper to optimize the angle of engagement and to absorb energy from the impact of the piston assembly. The material for the gears have been especially formulated to be very strong, Rockwell test figures on the KRYTAC gears are much higher than industry norms. Turning all of the drive train components is the KRYTAC high torque motor, capable of 30,000 revolutions per minute unloaded.

" Gives me no issues overall. Noticed a very tiny screw on the lower receiver that was loose but I had an allen key on hand and tightened it and never came loose since (5 months). First day using it fps was 360 using .25 bbs on the level 6 hop up (godbless the hopup has labled numbers up to 15). Switched to .28 bbs and now I get around 330-340. 30-70 feet distance is where this thing shines but can go further no problem.
" I bought this hoping to have a gun that works straight out of the box without any modifications. Krytac did not disappoint! I dialed in the hop and it shot lasers all day long with an occasional hop adjustment as it broke in. I ran it with an 11.1v 3,000mah Titan 3 cell that fits great. Trigger response was amazing and the rate of fire with the Titan battery was around 20 - 21 rps. With .28gr BBs, it shot 1.5-1.6J pretty consistently. I played for about 7 hours without any issues whatsoever. Its a solid rifle full metal, nothing was lose, wiggles, or needed tightening, It was just rock solid all day long.
If you're like me and just want something that is going to work great right out of the box then, this is for you!
" After 6+ months of owing this gun I can say it preforms phenomenally with consistent 375+ fps with .25s and a steady fire rate of 23 rps on a chrono using a Titan 11.1V Nunchuck Battery. It is built very rugged and takes my abuse like a champ. Cosmetically everything still looks brand new except for a scratch across the buffer tube where the stock slides on. The iron sights are surprisingly very nice. The only maintenance I do is cleaning the barrel after shooting for hours on the field, and I would also suggest doing this as the gun can beam people from 200+ feet away with a clean barrel. The mags are great, I have 4 of them and they do not have any misfeeds/jams and stay tight inside the gun.
Future upgrades/improvements I would make to the gun would be to the internals with a tightbore inner barrel, flat hop bucking, different cylinder for the correct air volume IF you feel like hiding a longer inner barrel into a suppressor and a programmable mosfet. If you already have this gun do not switch any of the other parts as they will not yield a noticeable change for the extra money. Good luck getting the orange tip off as Krytac superglues it to the threads. :( I had to use a lighter to take the tiny screw out underneath it and then use a saw to cut the orange tip without damaging the threads because pliers and a wrench did not do the job.
Overall, the solid construction and amazing performance of this gun lead me to believe it is one of the best on the market and outshines guns that cost twice as much as mine. Krytac's design does not cut corners (and should not) because of the price and I believe it is worth the purchase for all that it offers.
