" This is a decent sling. It feels sturdy and I don't see it breaking in the future. The one I received was a lighter shade of green, but I understand there's also a fair amount of variation in the color of the original slings. That being said, I can say that this is pretty much the same as a real one, which is both good and bad in some ways.
" This sling is really well made. Its really thick canvas belt, and the clips are thick metal. I doubt this bad boy will break on me anytime soon. However, the sling is listed as being OD green. I can tell you that what I am looking it is either really really faded, or might in fact just be desert tan / khaki. It is not green looking in the slightest. Luckily, I can afford to buy some dye or fabric spray paint to correct this. Like you, I want to receive a product that is the correct color as what I ordered. And now that I have to spend more $ on fixing the color, I don't feel I can't rate this product higher than 4 stars.
