Why Hi-Cap Magazines?
A High Capacity Magazine (AKA "Hi-Cap") holds a larger amount of rounds than standard allowing the operator to play for longer between mag changes. This can be a huge tactical advantage and also means you usually never have to worry about running out of ammo in-game. Hi-Caps will make a slight rattle due to the large amount of rounds being held in the BB reservoir, but this slight noise is indistinguishable in the heat of battle. Simply outfit yourself with a few Hi-Caps and you are ready to rock!

"This seems to be a pretty good replica externally of the "High-Reliability" magazine made by a certain brand. It's steel and painted black like the real one and has all of the correct markings. Though some of the external markings appear to be kind of faint on my copy.

Performance-wise, this magazine leaves a bit to be desired since it didn't seem to lock in high enough on my 416 to feed reliably. The winding is also atrocious due to the hidden wheel design. I basically stuck an Allen wrench into the open hole on the magazine floorplate and jimmied it until it seemed like it was wound. This is a long and arduous process by the way, since the winding wheel is to the side where it would normally be on an M4 hi cap...and hidden under a baseplate that only has access with a small hole.

All in all, this magazine looks pretty decent, and is priced nicely compared to the other 416 style magazines, especially the other one with trades. But, it could feed better and you do need to do some work to it to make it actually practical. I'll have to figure that out on my own time, but for now it looks nice in my 416 on the wall.
