FPS Range: 460-470
The M1 Garand originated in 1936 was the first semi-automatic rifle to be generally issued to the US Armed Forces. It replaced the older standard issue bolt-action M1903 and was extensively used throughout World War II, the Korean War, and some of Vietnam. Regarded as "the greatest battle implement ever devised" by General George S Patton, the M1 Garand has a long history and even lengthier service record.
The ICS M1 Garand does some serious justice to its real-steel counterpart. Outfitted with a beautiful real wood stock, full-metal barrel and trigger assembly, and 1:1 replicated look and feel it is definitely an Airsoft gun that will be a great addition to any player's arsenal, whether it be a collector's piece or used on a regular basis. The ICS M1 Garand also comes with a sturdy full metal 6mm / 8mm bearing hybrid gearbox providing and a long service life.Features:Realistic 1:1 ReplicaFull Metal Barrel and Trigger AssemblyReal Wood StockHybrid 6mm / 8mm Metal Bearing Gearbox Design with Steel GearsGearbox is Fully Upgradeable with Marui-style Internal PartsWorking Bolt-Catch to Aid in Hopup AdjustmentRealistic, Adjustable Front and Rear SightsIntegrated Sling Adapters (compatible with WWII style slings)Smooth-Feeding One-Piece Hopup UnitLow-Resistance 16AWG Internal WiringOne-Piece Cylinder Head with O-ring Sealed Air NozzleLength:

"Ok, put this gun thru a weekend of action. at first, it took a bit of time to learn the guns attitude and as I made adjustments to her she responded in a great way. Chrono 416 with .28 so for most fields this will be a DMR. accuracy is spot on and deadly to 150ft. I had quite a few kills at that range firing one to 3 shots to hit the target. also had two kills at 200ft and one of the two was "one shot one kill" kills at 100 ft or less was pretty much automatic see them aim, pull the trigger ..."HIT" was the result. The build of this gun is rock solid. yes, she is around 9.5lbs or so, but well balanced so the weight of the gun goes almost unnoticed. Mag capacity is roughly 32 rounds per mag. I don't push to jam every last one I can get in there but I don't think you can get the 40 rounds in. My gun is also very quiet when firing. The only problem I have now is which gun do I run as I have a Thompson M1A1 that I love to bring into battle. So I give it a 10 of 10 I am very Happy with this gun. If you are looking for a real wood and metal gun this is it!
"The M1 Garand by ICS is extremely nice. It has some problems, but the benefits outweigh the risks with this gun.
Amazing feeling wood furniture
Magazines feed nicely
Nice air freshener
All of the serial numbers are different
The magazines are a little wonky fitting in the gun but it dosen't effect preformance
If one presses the trigger slowly, the gun fires in full automatic
The information on the rear near the sight says "Springfield army" when it should say "Springdale armory"
Putting a barrel cover on is a puzzling task
FPS limit is wayyy too high to play CQB with (closest outdoor field to me is ~1hr away and is easier to play indoors)
All-in-all, the cons are only minor and fixable things that don't affect the preformance of the gun, therefore it's still 5 stars for me. Perfect for any WW2 load out. It's also a unique gun that isn't seen quite often. Depending on your field rules, it might need the spring changed out though.
TL;DR killing Nazis made easy!
"Bought this work of art on Saturday and used it later that day for a chillsim op and it far exceeded my expectations, so far I have clocked it out to 150ft with .25g bbs.
Near instant trigger response with a 1600mah 9.6v battery
400fps with .25g BBs
Wood is very nice quality
Solid build, definitely won't break any time soon
Wood finish is a bit rough so it's easier to hold if you wear gloves, could be a con for some
Mags could hold a bit more ammo, more of a gripe than anything else
Mags are a bit large so they won't fit in ww2 M1 pouches
Wood finish is a bit rough, some may prefer the look of a smooth finish for display purposes
Overall, you have to shoot this gun to really understand how amazing it is
