M14, is an American selective fire automatic rifle that fires 7.6251mm NATO (.308 Winchester) ammunition. It gradually replaced the M1 Garand in U.S. Army service by 1961 and in U.S. Marine Corps service by 1965. It was the standard issue infantry rifle for U.S. military personnel in the contiguous United States, Europe, and South Korea from 1959 until it was replaced by the M16 rifle in 1970. The M14 was used for U.S. Army, Navy and Marine Corps basic and Advanced Individual Training (AIT) from the mid-1960s to the early 1970s.
The M14 was the last American "battle rifle" (weapons that fire full-power rifle ammunition, such as the 7.6251mm) issued in quantity to U.S. military personnel. The rifle remains in limited service in all branches of the U.S. military as an accurized competition weapon, a ceremonial weapon by honor guards, color guards, drill teams, and ceremonial guards, and sniper rifle/designated marksman rifle. The M14 serves as the basis for the M21 and M25 sniper rifles.Magazine:

"This gun was my first like, real airsoft gun it shoots pretty gosh darn okay for $125. The hi and midcaps are very sturdy and reliable. It is a bit heavy but you will probably only use it outside. Overall very good gun 10/10 would recommend.
"Love this gun. It's a little heavy, but it's worth it. Parts are a little hard to find because of the version 7 gear box, and it's a bit of a pain to work on. Great stock parts, great price, and shoots pretty good out of the box. Got this to build into a DMR and I can't say anything bad about it. I get a lot of compliments on it.
"Excellent for the price, a good deal of accuracy and speed. The weight makes it feel sturdy, and for the most part it is. No stock wobble or anything of the sort, the barrel and sights are both firmly placed. The only part that feels neglected is the charging handle and moving bolt, cool to move but feels loose. Ultimately useless however and plays no real role besides cool factor, on real firearms with exposed bolts it is entertaining to move it back and forth. Same goes for this airsoft version, however it doesn't have the same sturdiness to be repeatedly moved. The battery stowage in the buttstock is long enough but could be slightly larger to fit the cable in easily. The magazine lines up decently and snaps in well, but has slight wobble front to back, thought it may be needed so it can be easily removed and inserted. Accuracy at over 100 feet is solid, .23g bbs are what I used you can go heavier. I would not recommend going lighter they would scatter more. Feeds reliably from mid-cap mags, but on hi-cap it seems to skimp out on the last 20 or so and not feed them. Perhaps it is a magazine issue, something to note since it was the original factory magazine I was using.
