Ordered this a week ago and so far, this thing has been fabulous, although slightly different from what they show here. This current listing is A&K's oldest model of MK12, so it has some changes to note.
Changes: Now has a quick-change spring, serial number format is changed slightly (very minor and you probably won't notice) there is no text on the lower receiver around the selector switch anymore, does NOT include the short mag shown in the pictures, instead it includes a normal M4 high cap which works well. All the changes I noticed so far but there might be more improvements that I haven't noticed.
Pros: HUGE amount of battery space due to the full stock, gun feels very solid and sturdy, pretty heavy too as it weighs around 10~ lbs, long barrel is very nice and feels very accurate, very nice internals, comes with accessories like 2 rail covers and a foregrip.
Cons: Heavy but you kind of sign up for that when getting this, the bolt catch has locked up on me once but that's not a major issue, rear iron sight comes mounted on and cannot be removed without taking the upper receiver off of the lower but that's just two pins which isn't so hard.
I love this gun so far and I recommend this fully. "Purchased this a couple years ago- still have it to this day. No complaints aside from the parts compatibility being finicky. The FPS was Absurd after Breaking it in, but this IS and SPR after all. If I recall it was at the lowest of 432FPS. Currently haven't cracked it open to so maintenance either. Be aware of the Rail System as it's not free float. It's a bit heavier compared to the actual thing.
Pros: Reliable, Sturdy as all cam be, quieter than most AEGs, Everything that should be metal IS metal.
Cons: The Delta had to have be tightened by Heracles himself as it takes power tools and a tourqed vice to loosen the darn thing. Battery Compartment is both Cramped and Large at the same time. I accidentally disconnected the fuse trying to get the battery out once- thankfully my gorilla hands didn't rip it entirely. The spacey part of it is it rattles a bunch so you gotta actually know how to run quietly or else you'll hear it sloshing about. "Good build gun. I bought it so that I can gradually upgrade it to my primary DMR. The metal is very durable (although not very high quality). Internals are rudimentary. I plan on upgrading soon. The hopup tends to curve to the right, even after I disassembled and adjusted it a few times; it seems to work fine vertically though. The durable charging handle and working dust cover are definitely a plus (don't close the dust cover with the charging handle pulled back though, you have to take the gun apart to get it to work again.) One thing that I didn't like is the plastic stock. It is still holding together just fine for me, but I think a metal one would be better (at the cost of weight); also, the battery is very loud in the stock. Finally, this is a pretty heavy gun. I like the realistic feel, but beware if you don't like lugging around the weight of a real AR platform.
PROS: Solid feel with the metal construction. Easily disassembled and upgrade-able. Plenty of rail space. Durable charging handle and working dust cover.
CONS: Hopup is kinda wonky. Stock is plastic/doesn't seem super durable. Battery rattles in the stock. Internals aren't very great. Heavy. Read More Reviews Write a Review
