" I have to say, I am VERY impressed with this "budget" replica of the M40A3 (aka M62). Right out of the box with .26g BB's I got a fairly consistent 435 to 440 fps, it was actually getting faster after 50 shots and settled in at 445 /- 5fps. I could actually shoot .30 polished BB's flat trajectory to 235ft without losing much speed. Groups at 235 ft were around 5 inches reliably, more than enough to hit a torso in an airsoft fight. I'm thinking of moving into a sniper roll from a squad position, I'm getting old and not moving around a lot is appealing. This is the perfect "sniper platform" to begin on and it appears to be upgradeable. I hope EVIKE will offer upgrades and how-to's for this model Double Eagle/Matrix / ASG, etc., M62/M40A3 private labelled versions, for us to BUY MORE STUFF!

" I have had this gun for 3 or so years, only issue I have had is the lower rail sheered off. Mechanically works perfectly.
