The Strike Industries ARK pistol by EMG has been designed with the same performance characteristics as SI's real firearm ARK components. The sleek slide has been lightened throughout with various cuts, which translates nicely to the Airsoft platform, providing a crisp firing action. Suppressor-height front and rear sights give the user a clean, easy to acquire sight picture, and the outer barrel is fluted for lightness and added aggressive design characteristics. The rear of the slide features a dot sight cutout for extra realism when compared to the real SI ARK slide (dot sight compatibility to be announced).
EMG SI ARK pistols feature Strike's unique frame design, carefully modeled after SI's upcoming STRIKE 80 pistol frame. Strike's frame is an ergonomic, practical, and aggressive pistol frame solution. The frame grip features a distinct texture, giving the user positive grip on the pistol. Further forward, the frame features an undercut trigger guard for added ergonomics and control. At the front of the frame is a 20mm accessory rail, able to accommodate lights, laser, and other 20mm pistol accessories.
All around the pistol are clear, high quality Strike Industries trademarks, adding that extra bit of detail and realism to an already solid Airsoft pistol.

(Write a review) "I've had the ARK 17 in my hands for the last few days and boy do I love this gun. I will admit it took me a few hours to warm up to it because for my entire airsofting career i have only used Hi-Capas or 1911s. I really only have two issues with the gun. 1, the orange tip is really thin and when i tried to take it off the plastic broke leaving the threads covered in orange plastic. 2, the recoil spring and spring guide are not great. The spring guide came really scratched up and the spring has a grinding feeling when compressed. However, these issues can be fixed. Just get another recoil spring and spring guide, then carefully dremel out the plastic from the threads. "I would give it 4 stars due to mag compatibility WE mag don’t work FYI it has to be TM specs mags other wise gas won’t feed but overall great pistol replica 100% "Good looks and style but poor internal quality. I received mine and knowing its a new one went through my typical "break in" process witch involved shooting at least 200 rounds than cleaning and lubricating the parts. During the first 200 it would not fire consistently at all, sometimes soft and short stroke or hard and snappy. With that i knew it could be just parts settling in so didn't think much of it. Now after doing all that I continue to have issues even sometimes just blowing all the gas out the top and barrel. I tried out TM, WE, and ProWin mags with none of them working besides the factory one. I am very disappointed in the internal quality of this replica. I would only recommend this to people who wish to gut and rebuild the entire gun. Also on thing to watch out for is if you remove the optic cover, it leaves the nozzle spring exposed and after mounting an optic (rmr clone fits nice) it will start to cause minor issues with said spring. I would recommend using a thin piece of plastic (in my case the plastic that madbull steel bull barrels come in)to seal it off.
Feel: (when working) 8/10
Overall: 6/10 (external quality is the only thing saving it) Write a Review
