Specna Arms meets the expectations of clients by presenting the CORE line of products - an exceptional series of replicas that introduces a new quality to the market. An attractive price in combination with an innovative spring change system as well as high-quality materials make this replica suitable for beginners and seasoned airsoft players alike.
The receiver, stock slide, handguard and a SF stock that holds the battery, as well as the pistol grip, were made from nylon reinforced polymer. Remaining components such as the barrel, flash hider, enlarged charging handle and tactical sling swivels were made of metal (parts made of steel include the screws, pins, shell ejection window and mock bolt carrier). The receiver bears markings and a serial number.
The replicas parts fit very well together and the User will not experience any loose spots between the lower and upper receiver. The use of a light polymer receiver allowed for a reduced weight, which makes it very suitable for dynamic games or long-lasting mil-sims. Whats more, fiberglass reinforcement makes the receiver also more durable than polymer and metal receivers.
The replica features a ESA Quick Spring Change System. Due to that system, it is possible to rapidly and quickly adapt the power of the replica to the conditions expected on the playing field without the necessity to have the access to a workshop or a set of special tools - all that is required is to remove the stock slide in order to gain access to the spring so that it can be removed without having to pull out or disassemble the gearbox.
The advantages of ESA system are hard to overstate. In the light of the current internal regulations inside various groups, the system guarantees the User a varied set of possibilities and plenty of freedom. ESA system allows with a minimal amount of time to change the main spring, thusly customize the muzzle velocity towards the area of the game in such a way so as to guarantee an ideal compromise between the effectiveness of fire and safety for the User himself as well as other participants.
The replica is fully compatible with LiPo and LiFe batteries. Due to a base muzzle velocity of ~380 FPS provided by the main spring installed by default by the manufacturer, the replica is perfect for operating on a medium range. The set also includes an M90 spring, which allows reducing the muzzle velocity to ~310 FPS and as a result to adapt the replica for close-ranged and indoor operations.
The gearbox contains 8 mm slide bearings as well as shimmed steel gears based on them. The system is secured with four anti-reversal latches. A light, made of a polycarbonate polymer piston is equipped with a full steel strip, in order to increase its durability. Also, implemented were a type 0 cylinder and a steel circuit-breaker, as well as a precise rotary Hop-Up chamber. The durability of parts allows for the cooperation with M140 springs.
The precisely-made rotary type Hop-Up chamber perfectly fit with high quality 6,03 precision barrel. The use of precision barrel has a positive effect on the range and accuracy of the replica.

"I got the M4 Carbine Slim M-Lok / Black (Sa-C14) model about 6 months ago and have gone to 2 games as well as shooting in the backyard with it. In my opinion it’s a great gun especially for the price. My fps came in at 360-385 which is under my 400 field limit. I haven’t tried the quick change spring yet. The gun only has issues shooting if the battery gets really low, which I think is the built in mosfet trying to save the LiPo battery from draining. The motor has never gotten too warm for me. As for magazines, any airsoft m4 mag should work but the one it comes with is 5.56mm x45 hi cap. As for batteries, read the details in the description section but I also noticed that 11.1v seems to preform a lot better than 7.4v. The hand guard, barrel, rails, trigger, charging handle, screws, and most moving parts are all metal. Everything else is made of some really durable plastic. Don’t worry about the plastic, it seems to hold up really well, almost as good as the metal. And you can’t see when it scratches! The weight is hefty enough to feel like a nice product, but light enough to not tire you out after a day of playing. The only wiggle is in the lever that moves the stock position and a little side to side wiggle on the barrel. The barrel can be fixed with some zip ties though. The gun comes with an orange tip on the barrel. The hop up is great and helps the bb go very far (I’m not sure of the distance, but it’s not a sniper rifle). Be careful when adjusting the hop up though, it’s really sensitive. The bolt catch and forward assist don’t really do anything. The safety is only on the left side, and the mag release is only on the right side. Another thing that isn’t great is that the sling mounts are only little holes which you need special attachments for, so I just use some string to clip my sling on. Don’t worry about batteries fitting, trust me they will fit the only problem would be getting the wires to fit. A stick or butterfly/nunchuck type battery would work. The gun comes with a built in deans battery connector, but in the box is a deans to small tayama converter. The iron sights are plastic and aren't that great, I’d just get a red dot or scope (it doesn’t come with one). Here’s what comes in the box: Gun, magazine, barrel cleaning rod, deans to small tayama converter, owners manual, extra lower fps spring, evike playing card, and some other evike papers. Sorry this was such a long review, but I was trying to say all the things I wish someone had told me. Overall I’m really glad I bought this gun as my first gun, and I hope it will last me a while.
"Just to clear up any questions about the gun (I got the SA-C08/M4 CQB keymod), the handguard is 8 inches long, the orange tip is removable (I had to burn it off as I couldn't remove the set screw as it was glued in), it comes wired to tamiya but comes with a deans adapter, the stock can be replaced with a King arms pdw stock (you have to file some parts because of some slight fitment issues).
"This is THE best M4 for beginners in 2023. I’ve seen plenty of others online recommend it as well, including Evike themselves. It has good internals and externals, and by swapping the hop-up bucking and nub, it’ll much more accurately. I cannot stress this enough- if you want an airsoft M4 without dropping upwards of $200, this is the best gun you can get. If not an M4, try the CYMA CM040, CM045 and CM048 series.
