" I like it. I received it a few days ago and I think it feels pretty solid. There are a few things to keep in mind though
First, the hammer has these grip serrations on the top of it(presumably to keep your thumb from slipping). I don't like them because they KILLED my thumb. Of course this is a double action revolver so if you only intend on using it in double action then this isn't really a problem for you. I wear shooting gloves so it doesn't really affect me while I'm in-game but I don't want to wear my gloves during target practice so it makes it mildly inconvenient. And again I use single action because it makes the trigger easier to pull(not that the trigger is hard to pull in double action, it's just easier in single action and I'm a fan of a more touchy trigger)but if you don't intend on using single action then you're fine.
Another thing Im not exactly a fan of is the parts that are polymer. Most of this gun IS metal but the cylinder and frame are polymer(I get that that's what makes it less expensive and it's not that big of a deal as long as the internals of the gun are metal which I assume they are because of the weight of the gun) and the cylinder specifically kind of scares me because I feel like it'll break if I rotate it while reloading it(I may just be a caution freak but I don't really like when things break so I try to take good care of stuff)and maybe that's contradictory of me to say even though I said it feels solid, which to be clear...it does, but I just try to be nice to stuff and keep it nice(maybe to a fault) but idk.
So in summary it's a really good gun, I highly recommend it. It's very much worth every penny, there's just a few things about it I'm a bit cautious of. It's really accurate right out of the box, it's EXTREMELY gas efficient(I emptied my 200 round speed loader three times before it started to run low on CO2), and most importantly...it's a revolver that doesn't have a magazine that can fall out of your magwell when you aren't looking(that's why I bought mine in the first place, yes, a rage buy). All in all the only reason I don't give it five stars is because it's scared me a few times by acting like it won't rotate the cylinder which with any convincing it goes right back to normal if it ever starts being angry that you're using it.
" because im no expert on airsoft i can only give basics in this review with pros and cons so here we go:
pros:
+ total of 16 shells given in package
+ rather lightweight compared to other handguns i've tried
+ trademarks
+ CS:GO revolver update ptsd
+ doesn't rattle too much despite the shells' cons below
cons:
- annoying groove on the left side between the cylinder and safety that makes shells fall out slightly when the gun points up (this doesn't cause any feeding or reloading issues thankfully but it gets annoying. shells dont fall out of the gun this way either so long as cylinder is closed btw)
- shells can fall out by gravity, making ejecting rod near useless and can potentially make you lose ammo accidentally
- lengthy trigger pull in double-action (though that's to be expected)
- safety/cylinder release was a bit stiff at first
overall could probably be worth $70 but still a fun gun
" The gun look great and feels good in the hands, although I have yet to use it in a game. But I have some complaints.
The main reason I bought this was because it is advertised as having a hopup. Other airsoft retailers advertise a hopup in video reviews.
However, the manual the gun comes with makes no mention of a hopup and I am 99% sure the manual is correct- there in no hopup. I have inspected the inner barrel the best I could without taking it apart and there is no visual difference between zero and max hopup. Additionally I have done 60 foot shooting tests using .20 and .25 bbs with max hopup and I see no diffrence. Maybe I'm blind but these are my observations.
What the "hopup" screw does accomplish however is adjusting the ease of trigger pull, though Im not sure if that's by design. Regardless, its not on the manual, but it is on the gun so it must have a purpose. Im sure a tech can use it for a tdc mod.
Accuracy: Shots noticeably arc low. Shots are not on the dot, you have to aim up slightly. From 60 feet (size of my backyard), headshot sized targets were almost impossible, but torso size targets were fine. Also even on the lighter settings, the heavy trigger pull messes up your shots, unless you use it in single action. Probably better suited for indoor play to pretend you are SWAT.
Shells compatibility: Good shells. These shells can work in my Umarex Smoke Wagon just fine with equal accuracy, but the Umarex Smoke Wagon shells will not work in this gun, they are a little to thick to fit.
PROS:
- Cost effective revolver with extra shells
-Great aesthetic design and feel
-Great practical and functional desgin
CONS:
-Dissapointing accuracy for outdoors
- Hopup does nothing
