Unlike Tokyo Marui Airsoft guns of the past, the new MTR (ZET System) rifles now feature metal receivers instead of all polymer as well as fully licensed trademarks to add to the realism of these replicas. Combined with Tokyo Marui's high quality internals and stock dependability, these rifles are great to skirmish out of the box or as a base for high performance projects.
The new ZET System is Tokyo Marui's latest entry into the GBB rifle market featuring an action similar to the venerable Hi-Capa design as opposed to standard gas M4 systems. The ZET System has been designed to not only be much more gas efficient, but it has been designed with durability and longevity in mind thanks in part to its short travel roller style hammer; this hammer design greatly reduces the cyclic wear on your bolt, hammer, and valve knocker. Additional improvements include a steel bolt locking plate which addresses a common issue with standard gas M4 systems where the bolt stop suffers from accelerated wear and quickly loses the last round bolt locking function.
While Tokyo Marui has been around for a long time in Asian markets, their availability has been limited/restricted due to licensing and importation issues; however through Evike.com and partners, Tokyo Marui guns are now finally going to be readily available state-side.

" I got my MTR16 for christmas and so far iv been loving it. Iv been using HPA engines for my entire airsoft journey and i have to say that i this comes close to being my favorite. I got a MWS tapp adapter for this gun almost instantly so im able to us my PTS EMP1-s on this gun since i cant stand green gas or the 20-30 round capacity. This gun shoots extremely well hitting targets at about 50-60M with 80-90% accuracy. Coming from HPA i have a pretty fast trigger finger and while its nothing like a polarstar being able to dish out 15 rounds a second on semi, you can get a pretty decent rate of fire out of this gun on semi. Overall very happy with it, kicks decently hard stock and with a G&P aluminum buffer it kicks really hard. Trigger pull is very nice along with the aggressive angle pistol grip. I still like my HPA engines better for playing aggressive and laying down tons of suppressive fire but this gun is very nice for playing conservative and teaches you to choose your shots carefully. The only thing i hate about this gun is that the muzzle break was glued onto the threads of my barrel. I had to remove the muzzle break by sawing it off along with the threads and super glueing new threads on there so i could put on my spit fire tracer unit. New threads installed it works perfect but keep that in mind if you plan on buying one.
" This gun is AMAZING. The cerakote finish feels very nice the entire gun is made solid. I mean nothing moves on this gun its a really solid built gun. I use the gun with a tapp drum mag and the accuracy is good for 200ft. The recoil is strong and on full auto its hard to control!
