"I’ve had this drum do almost 4 years now and it’s a beast! The gun has been replaced before the drum has, I’ve had 0 issues out of it I love that it’s a manual wind up over the battery powered drums, personally I prefer that. Overall I have no cons honestly it’s not super wobbly when I’m running on the field it’s sturdy I’ve ran into walls with it and it’s been great if you get the M45X this thing is a must!

"Fitment in the M45X-S is a little rough. The drum mag needs a good slap to get it to rest within the magwell and engage the mag release, otherwise it just falls out.

It functions exactly as any regular high capacity mag would; a winding wheel on the bottom allows you to wind up the mag.

For the price, Ares could have at least incorporated a better winding mechanism such as making it a flash drum mag similar to the one Angel Custom produces for other AEGs.
