There have been improvements in torque and speed output, but very little about the actual design of the motors and the grips that house them has changed. One of the biggest selling points of PTW style AEGs is their slim and realistic motor grip and one of the more common complaints about regular Marui style AEGs is that the motor grips are too wide, and dont feel like the real thing. ARES has heard these concerns and through extensive research and development, has developed a new style of motor that is slimmer and more compact than the original AEG motor without sacrificing the compatibility that the original motor enjoys.
The Realistic series of motor and motor grips from ARES give the user a more realistic and all around more comfortable shooting experience. The ARES Realistic grips are compatible with most popular Tokyo Marui spec. AK AEG receivers with little to no modification required.

" Just so you know the depth adjustment is done by rotating the whole motor, if it's to tight loosen the motor a turn and see is that helps, also it is off center alittle bit so the pinion gear on the motor is lower, closer the one side of the gearbox shell so more shims are needed on the big part of the bevel gear. It took me a bit but I have this, a lonex v3 shell, rocket 13:1 gears on an m115 and it's butter smooth and fast. Not as fine of an adjustment as a set screw but it works for me. Much more torque and speed than the factory lct motor.
" Hello, I've bought the thing, VERY NICE quality and really realistic size/dimentions (I've real AK too - to compare, the only difference is very slight difference in handgrip angle, everything else is exactly as on the real thing)
" Really nice motor. The Ultra-high torque was even stronger than my previous SHS frankenmotor. Great trigger response. The grip feels much better than the giant brick that typical airsoft AKs come with. A little expensive but worth it IMO.
