For too long has the airsoft market been nearly sanitized of a shotgun that presented a realistic shooting experience in a high quality product at a reasonable price. Enter, the gas Scattergun from JAG Arms, the first affordable and reliable tactical gas airsoft shotgun.
The Scattergun is beautifully constructed from a high quality metal and features polymer furniture which mimics the real thing of which this shotgun was based upon. Starting at the front of the Scattergun, you will find a metal outer barrel, magazine tube, and receiver. All lending them selves to mirror the real steel gun and providing an amazing feel to the shotgun. A small picatinny rail section is mounted on top of the receiver lending it self to be perfect for mounting of an optic to give the user a hand in target acquisition.
As this shotgun is powered by green gas which is located inside of the stock via a removable gas tank, it gives the operator an ability to quickly manipulate and fire the shotgun compared to a spring powered shotgun due to the ease of cocking the gun. The shotgun features 3 barrels with fixed hop up which allows the users to switch from 3 rounds or 6 rounds per shot by a flick of a lever located inside the ejection port. With the gas storage being in the stock, the Scattergun lends itself to an extremely high gas capacity allowing up to 120 shots per full gas fill. Muzzle Velocity:

"Overall I like it a lot but when I put gas in it, it leaks a little bit while Iím filling it but Iím sure thatís an easy fix.
"Not as efficient as I hoped for it to be.
I haven't fielded it yet, but after plinking and playing around with it, I noticed two distinct issues with this.
First off, and the most noticeable one, is that the rack would lock up, even after shooting. You would have to shake or slap the gun in order for the rack to pump. It happens by complete random, where it may never happen in one shell or lock up after every single shot.
Second, in my model, I could hear a very, very subtle hissing if I put my ear up to the gun, and that hissing was the gas leaking out. Can't say it's a good thing, either.
Overall, it may be cheaper than a Tokyo Marui, but it's cheaper for a reason. If I were you, I'd save up for the quality, or get a CYMA spring shotgun.
"I got my Scattergun when they first hit the market. It came leaking gas where the full stock and receiver meet. After tighting a screw inside the stock i have had no leaking problems at all. My shotgun has been used and abused its still holding up strong. If you get the full stock version be VERY careful with the 2 tabs that hold the rubber butt pad on. They will brake easy. Also with a full charge of gas you will get around 5 to 6 shell before your out of gas. I have to use .28s to keep it shooting straight.
