"I have owned dozens and dozens of airsoft guns primarily rifles. Out of the box generally even more expensive offerings I have found to be lacking in basic aspects.

I have owned a total of four ICS rifles, and this is the fourth.

Two of them were MP fives

One other M4 beside this

I was hesitant as my CXP that I owned probably six or seven years ago was very heavy.

It is not the case with this whatsoever. Sure it's heavy in the sense that it's a full metal gun, but not excessively as with my last ICS M4

Out of the box it runs like a top. Very pleasant to use, but that's not to say there's not room for improvement

I have not gotten into the internals as I usually let something run until it breaks. The only spot that I can see that is an obvious weak point is the polymer piston with polymer teeth.

When that goes out I will definitely upgrade to something with a full metal rack and determine if the air nozzle needs to be addressed as well.

However the stock air seal seems to be extremely good as the variance in FPS is /-4

The quick change spring is a primary selling point for me requiring only one takedown pin to be removed in order to access the spring change system

My only other complaint would be the stock bucking

After changing it to a quantum it shoots like a dream

Everything else is rock solid.

Only other thing that I've noticed is after switching to a T238 brushless the base plate will have to be modified. As soon as you try to put the T238 in you'll see what I mean. Before assembly take the base plate and match it up with the T238

As well the pin removal system on the motor base plate is ridiculously good. I've never used this type of system but I absolutely love it

Overall if you're considering this gun I can give no higher recommendation.

I've owned most major brands and if I lost all my rifles through fire or theft this is what I would buy to start rebuilding my arsenal
