ICS CXP-MMR M4 Airsoft AEG (Model: Black / DMR)

"I bought the SBR version of the ICS MMR. This is my first ICS AEG, and I gotta say, I am very impressed. I got tired of how tidiest it was to work on a TM gearbox since it felt like a whole process every time I worked on my AEGs. So, I finally decided to go for ICS because their AEGs use a split gearbox design.

This AEG comes with M-Lok which is the way to go nowadays. The externals feel solid and nice. The stock performance out of the box was surprisingly good, accuracy was excellent (w/ .25 g- .30g bbs), range was fantastic (~150ft - 180ft), FPS was shooting at 430 with .20g, the compression was outstanding with a 2 - 3 fps variation. I downgraded the spring to a Madbull M110 spring and the AEG was now shooting at 397fps. I don't get why ICS isn't as popular in the US unlike the other brands (Krytac, VFC, G&G, G&P). Their split gearbox design makes upgrading and maintaining ridiculously easy. What a brilliant design, I love it. Furthermore, this come with ICS proprietary rotary hopup style unit which is far superior than the TM hop up design, and a few airsoft mechanics have said that the nub lever of the ICS rotary hop up unit is better than the Prowin hop up nub lever.

I am planning on getting another ICS upper receiver so that I swap them out for different application such as outdoor fields or indoor CQB. ICS makes it shockingly easy to do that. I have owned this AEG since June 2019 (4 months), and I don't think I would ever go back to a AEG that uses a TM design gearbox.
