"This MOSFET does exactly what you want a basic MOSFET to do: allows you to use a higher voltage battery to run your motor faster with better trigger response and save your trigger switch contacts.

The really beautiful thing it does is that it does all of that in a *tiny* package! Even in the most compact spaces, you will have room to run this inline MOSFET. It can even be soldered directly to a Dean's connector! I use these routinely as part of my AK builds, and I prefer to run a top-wired set up, with a Dean's and a fuse, as I have plenty of room for a stick battery. This allows me to use whatever type of stock I want, and it's easier to get to the battery with a push of the dust cover button rather than having to deal with screws.

"BUYER BEWARE. I’ve had spotty luck with these. I’ve been buying a lot of these to keep in stock to refurbish/upgrade some AEGs, and I’ve come across three of them that were bad. I did not figure out which ones were bad within the 30 day RMA window that EVIKE requires because they’ve been sitting in my spare parts box, and now EVIKE won’t replace the ones that have tested bad. So-I’m out of $30.

I’m disappointed that EVIKE wouldn’t replace these, as they are non-moving parts and I did not have an opportunity to get them tested out in time. So, if you want EVIKE to stand behind their products, you need to test them right away. Don’t wait!
