"E&L AK-74 REVIEW

This does fit my E&L AK-74, BUT...
-There is some side to side play (very minor but noticeable)
-There is also some vertical play that causes your sight to angle upwards (to fix this I used some adhesive rubber so now the rail is perfectly aligned with the barrel.

IF PUTTING ON AN E&L AK...
-Take out the super stiff rear leaf spring as this will save much more time and struggle. It just slides out once you manage to get the rear sight out (pain in the ***)
-Once the rear leaf spring is removed, THERE WILL BE SOME VERTICAL PLAY so make sure to use sticky rubber feet to stop this.

Install took me about 10 minutes (including watching a youtube video). Definitely worth the money.

"Was able to get this mounted on a Cybergun AK Beta Spetsnaz. Not recommended, but can be done.
The sight slot in the rail came in handy to align the red dot. With the red dot attached, could align a laser on the bottom of he AK using the front iron sight and the rail sight slot. Align red dot to laser and happy hunting.

"Awesome little mount for the price. Have it mounted on my LCT Ak 74 MN and it works like a charm. Really great especially if you're planning on using with a mesh mask as it keeps the sight high enough you can easily aim.

Only consideration is the rail is rather short but has JUST enough room to fit a standard panorama red dot and a sight protector
