FPS Range: 370-390
The first standard issue semi-automatic rifle issued to the US Armed Forces, the M1 Garand was referred to as "the greatest battle implement ever devised" by General George S. Patton.Replacing the venerable Springfield M1903 in 1936, the M1 Garand quickly displayed its huge advantage on the battlefield. During World War II, the M1 Garand saw extensive use and gave US forces a major advantage in firefights against Axis soldiers who were usually issued slower bolt-action rifles. The M1 Garand remained in service throughout the Korean War and even had limited deployment in the early years of the Vietnam War. The rifle still continues to be used even in the modern day by drill teams and military honor guards as well as in the civilian market long after it was retired from active service.
G&G has done an excellent job recreating this legendary battle rifle. This full size rifle is crafted out of real wood and metal, giving it a noticeable heft and solid feel. Great for any collector, reenactor, or any player who just loves this classic firearm.

" Had my eye on this for years until a sale knocked $80 off the price, so I decided to metaphorically pull the trigger on it (and six mags). I was not disappointed. As a reenactor who also owns a real Garand, I was drawn to the G&G version because it looked more accurate than ICS and A&K's versions.
Pros:
-Fires accurately and consistently
-Looks the most accurate out of all the available versions
-Very well built in most aspects
-Disassembly is similar to real steel
Cons:
-Wood is creaky and thin in some areas, but can be shimmed to fit better (I used cut up playing card slices in the joints of the handguards)
-"MADE IN TAIWAN" is obnoxiously ENGRAVED into the op rod, had to sand it off and now I have to repaint that are of the metal
-Battery room in the stock is a bit tricky to utilize, although not too much of a problem.
-Magazines hold 20 rounds and only fire about 15, meaning you won't be carrying even a decent amount of ammo. Good thing the rifle is semi only so you wont blow through your ammo extremely fast.
DISCLAIMER:
Mags will NOT fit into an M1923 cartridge belt without sliding off the metal plate on the bottom. Will, however, fit into a standard .30-06 bandolier or Airborne rigger pouches.
The cons may look like they outweigh the pros, but they definitely do not. Most of the cons are FIXABLE cosmetic flaws and do not effect the functionality of the rifle. I am very satisfied and would have paid full price for the rifle if I had known how great it was.
Be sure to pick up a sling for this beast, as it is only one pound shy of the real weight of 9.5 lbs. You won't want to lug that around in your arms all day, speaking from experience.
" This gun is amazing! I love this I am a huge WWII fan as in I have a WWII American airborne load out, this completes that! It's an amazing gun with the real wood actually smells good out of the box and great metal construction! I've had this for 3 years and it has cost me a little trouble! Do not drop this I cracked the stock and a chunk of wood came out and had to glue it back in and also PEOPLE WONDERING IF THE MAGS FIT IN THE M1 CARTRIGE BELT! YES IT DOES FIT! I have one but u kinda need to push it in hard but the material will stretch over time and fit no problem. My CARTRIGE belt is a reproduction so yea! Also bayonets fit on it! I have a rubber one that fits on it but it's kinda hard to put on, anyways hope this helped you guys, thx
PROS:
Feels amazing
Shoots beautifully
Super accurate
Amazing real wood
Mags Fit in m1 cartrige belt
CONS:
I have burnt the wires 2 times from shooting it ... Idk how, but sent it in and works amazing
Only 42 rd mag
" i have had this now for about 2 years and its not a bad gun. it does have its issues when compared to my ICS garand.
pros:
takes real steel parts (all but the gas block, and stock)
is the same weight as real steel.
1/1 scale too
decent range and accuracy out of the box
cons
semi locks up as its just a m14 with a body kit
gearbox still has selector parts from m14 but no way to switch fire modes to fix locking up issues with 9.6v battery
long trigger pull
16 total shots out of a mag
mags dont fit pouches without any mods
all in all if you want a real good looking m1 get it, but if you want to compete with other players running m4s then get ICS
