"Great Pants - I have owned my pair now for about 8 years. I have a lot of mileage in them and can honestly say I love them. I purchased them in a size larger then then my fit (xxl). I use these as over pants rolled down over my pull on boots or just as pants. Within a couple of months in use they break in very well and feel very nice. A couple years ago the back belt loop broke but we easy to mend.
Mentions - these pants have slot for internal knee pads that can be inserted outside from the bottom. This actually has to be my biggest complaint - they move a lot because there is actual retention to make sure they keep them in place( also might be because I went one size up).
Overview of the storage - top down. There are no back pockets, side pockets are vertical with a reinforced edge for pocket clipped accessories such as knives or flashlights -they will hold a water bottle easily. Cargo pockets are big, have no internal retention and have the most tactical advantage closer ever- hook and loop #velcro. Down on the bottom of the leg above the ankle are small pockets that are perfect sized for a golf note book or smalll memo pad - I also keep a permit marker and pen in this pocket.
