"TACO®", Modular single rifle mag pouch. This unique pouch, compared to similar pouches in its class, will hold more than just the AR series of mags. Not only will it hold AR type magazines including P-MAGS, it will also hold mags for the AK, FAL, M14, SR25, M1A1 20rd, G3, Saiga 12, and more. It can even hold some types of radios. It will hold large flash bangs and M-18 smoke grenades.
The "TACO®" mag pouch measures 3" in width compared to the top selling mag pouch which is wider and disrupts much needed space on the user's modular platform. Made of Cordura, Polymer, and shock-cord. It is silent when stuck against and while extracting the mag. The "TACO®" maintains a positive grip on the mag, which is adjustable, and does not need any other use of a securing system unless desired by the user. Webbing tabs are sewn in on the top for use of "over the top" bungee retainers if desired (not included). Additional loop velcro is sewn in the inside if the user wishes to use adhesive backed hook velcro on his magazine body for added security. Testers have reported no issues other than it is a little hard to mount to a platform, though this was very little concern to them compared to the overwhelming positives this unique mag pouch provides. "These taco pouches are a great, the only complaint I have is the difficulty to MOLLE on to your vest or belt. But other than that i couldnt be happier they securley hold my m4 magazines in place. These mag pouches are a bit costy but if you have the extra cash definatley buy it!
"I've owned quite a few magazine pouches. Condor, Flyye, element... you name it.
These are THE best I've ever had. The malice clips are a pain to install, but once you install them they're flawless, they don't move at all.
I have a Flyye FAPC with 3 HSGI tacos on the front. I've ran a lot, tripped some times, fell down a ravine once (don't ask), not once has a mag fallen out of them, and I don't use the safety top loops. I even held my plate carrier upside down with all 3 PTS EPMs in their pouches, and gave it quite a shake. They didn't budge.
-They latch on very firmly, they're not going anywhere.
-Your mags aren't going anywhere as well, at least without your permission.
-VERY fast and easy to pull mags out and put them back in.
-Truly open top. You can install a safety band, but it's not necessary. There's nothing to move out of the way when reloading.
-They're adjustable, so they can actually hold tacos, or larger caliber magazines.
-The tacticoolest. Probably should have put this point at the top.
-I may have lost a finger or two installing them. You don't want to be juggling these between loadouts. Get help from somebody, and get at least 2 needle nose pliers.
-Pricey! (They could be a hundred bucks a piece and I'd still buy them though)
I can't recommend these pouches enough. If you have expensive high quality magazines, and want to be able to perform under 3 second reloads like a tacticool oper8tor, and your pouches don't make it easy, get these pouches.
"Great mag pouch. I've owned these for six months now and use these for both AK and M4 mags.
