fun to shoot

sturdy (mine came with a cracked outer barrel at the receiver, but doesnt affect anything)

reliable internals lasted over 6000 rounds and can probably do double that (still pot metal but because it is a semi auto only gun, less complex, thicker parts)

very accurate and very useable after simple upgrades without HPA, youre not going to be able to hit fingers at 250ft, but its a DMR, not a precision sniper, it does DMR things well.

inaccurate from the factory (fixed with an autobot bucking and crazyjet barrel, tape on the back of the magwell so the magazine doesnt wiggle)
firing pin assembly is a weak point, i initially broke it by messing with it, but its a high stress part made of pot metal, still a weak point regardless if it breaks or not

"I've owned this gun for 4 months so I figure now is a good time for a review after using it almost every weekend.

decent kick
outstanding range (200ft before I lost sight of the BB)
machined aluminum (not cast like the AIM)
good power (averaging 375 with a .36g BB)
heavy (con for some, but I like when my rifles feel solid)
black metal tip included
decent gas efficiency even on green gas
AEG style hop up wheel

big ugly orange tip placed on the gun with a M-M thread adapter that you will have to remove to get the metal tip in place
bolt can be sluggish at times, but always cycles fully
fps can be inconsistent, I have the fix listed below
loud (people will know it's gas once you fire)
heavy (you won't be running around like Novritsch with this)

Overall, I give it a 4.5 mostly due to the orange tip because you have to disassemble the gun to take the adapter off to put the metal flash hider on

Now, on to the fix for the inconsistency and sluggish bolt, the reason for this is that the mags have around 1mm of space to move forwards or backwards when firing, a fix I read on airsoft sniper forum said to put some tape on the front of the mag lip to force is all the way to the rear where the seals will line up. So I did and the cycle rate and power consistency was fixed, I swapped the tape for a *SMALL* dot of gorilla glue in the front of the mag well because it's easier than taping each mag every few games, I accidentally put a little too much and the fit is really tight, but they click into place with a light smack, so no harm done.

"I like it, the recoil is stunning, and is very very loud. I don't actually play Airsoft, I more or less shoot cans in my basement.

The magazines hold a lot of gas, I can easily get two magazines worth of shots before I notice the rifle's action slowing down.

There are many steel parts on the gun, trigger assembly and receiver not withstanding, but I don't like that the set screws that hold the gun together are made of pot metal. Speaking of screws, I took apart the entire front end of the gun for lubrication, and there's a lot of different parts that you have to line up perfectly just to get it all back together. It's very tedious, and judging from the parts diagram, taking apart the trigger assembly is going to be even worse when it breaks.

Threads are CCW 14mm (Righty-tighty to unscrew), be wary of the loctite on the flash hider. One will have to use a hairdryer for a few minutes to loosen it up so you can unscrew it. Mine came with a replacement black flash hider, but I can't fit it on the rifle because they're both male threads.

The rifle also came with a speed loader, and a spare receiver buffer.

I can't think of a better GBBR for this price, this one is certainly the best for fun and looks!
