About LCT Airsoft

When it comes to Airsoft externals, LCT is one of the most prolific brands on the market. LCT prides themselves in making some of the most realistic replicas in Airsoft through great attention to detail and by closely replicating the same manufacturing processes used to make their real firearm counterparts.LCT shows the same level of commitment for their AEG internals as their externals; the LCT gearboxes feature an enhanced list of parts users would typically upgrade to. These high performance, reinforced internals boast greatly improved reliability while still remaining completely Tokyo Marui (TM) compatible.

"I have had this AEG for a year now and decided it was time to review it. The LCT EBBs are a misunderstood and often overlooked system. These have a great potential to be solid performers as well as reliable. When I received my Aks74n last year, it performed OK out of the box, however you needed to use a powerful and high MAH battery to make sure it would operate and not lock up. If you use this EBB with a weak battery, or your play style includes spamming the trigger on semi, you will absolutely want to take notes on the upgrades I added below. In it's stock configuration, this aeg will lock up eventually if spammed on semi.
I am an airsoft tech by trade, so when I received the gun, naturally it did not remain stock for long. I did the upgrades purely based on what it NEEDED, and did not gut the entire gun. I did this purposely so that I could test the quality of the internals that matter( Gears, compression components, piston). In the gearbox I only added a Jefftron Leviathan V3, then reshimmed/relubed the gears, corrected AOE and that's It. Outside the gearbox, I addressed another shortcoming of the system. This comes from the old fashioned v3 hop up chamber. This EBB system has quite a lot of kick!(close to a GHK when set up properly). When you're firing it, it has a tendency to turn down the hop up. Seeing as nobody wants inconsistency or suboptimal range, I replaced it immediately with an Rhopped 469mm prometheus barrel as well as a Combat Union CNC aluminum TDC style Hop up Chamber. This completely removes this issue and makes this EBB AEG not only very exciting and fun to shoot, but shoot like a 'tack driver'. The next item outside the gearbox that I added(and this is an important one), was the Warhead Black 36k Motor. These motors perform exceptionally well with these high stress builds(and these EBB are high stress!); they not only have more torque than their brushed counterparts, they also pull considerably less amperage for the equivalent RPM brushed motor. This means you can run thinner wires and fit the battery in the triangle stock.

My overall opinion on these are that in their stock configuration, they leave a lot to be desired. However, this doesn't mean that these don't have the potential to be the most entertaining AEG you have ever used. Once I took all the parts mentioned above and installed them , I brought it immediately to MSW Aerodrome Babaslava. It performed exceptionally well, the cycle time was increased from the motor, and the Leviathan eliminated the chance of locking up the gun(even at DMR Fps limits). I have since also used it at multiple other large milsim events and it is still performing perfectly. It is now my favorite AEG to use in my 15 years of playing the game. I think if you have some extra money to throw into it initially, technical know-how, or have a trusted shop to work on your AEGs, these are really worth trying. Can't give it a perfect score because of the extra money I needed to spend to make it field worthy, but I will definitely be getting more from the LCT EBB series

"Honestly kinda disappointed with the product, too many issues with the gun for the price, though I could have possibly received a defective model.

Cons:
The gun cant completely cycle on full auto which kills the experience for me

If you fire too quickly in semi-auto the trigger locks up and will only fire again if you switch to full auto

There is no space at all for a 11.1 volt battery in the handguard which is needed to operate the ebb.

The bolt is held in place by tension from a tiny piece of plastic placed under the leaf spring in the sight block, This piece of plastic will fall out each time you remove the bolt to insert the battery and if you lose this small piece of plastic, good luck trying to use the gun because the bolt will bounce around in the receiver violently. Also its honestly a pain to get the piece of plastic seated properly each time.

If you want to install rails like the b-30 handrail you will have to mount the battery externally.

Just buy the non ebb version.
