" First drum I've used; it has fed and performed without fail. Probably approaching 7-8k thru it. While I watch every other SAW/MG around me fail, this in the RPK-16 just keep chugging.
" Overall, these drum mags are quite good. I've never had a feeding problem and they have metal lips so you won't break them off over inserting the mag, however, they do have a fatal weak spot. Right where the circular drum part meets the straight upper part of the mag that feeds into the gun, it tends to break right there on pretty much any impact. I'm not the only one I know who has broken this mag and it's always in the same spot. Lct needs to do some kind of reinforcement right there and this would be a top quality drum.
