"Received in great shape, feels good in hand. high quality external parts besides the plastic grips and the plastic outer barrel, though both are well molded. with it being a full size 1911, the slide lock can be a bit difficult to reach fluidly while reloading. super snappy blowback when firing.

very satisfying to shoot, although the green gas can sometimes spray back onto the shooters hand.

magazine can be hard to load quickly, takes some technique, and there is no way I've found to quickly unload them.

grip safety is very robust, will not shoot unless the grip safety is compressed. HOWEVER.

after putting a few mags through it and fidgeting with it for a few days, the thumb safety no longer works. if the hammer is cocked, and the thumb safety is switched up into the "safe" position, you can still pull the trigger and have the hammer strike. if this is relatively similar to a true 1911 internally, I'm assuming the thumb safety has somehow stopped engaging with the sear.

all in all, im somewhat satisfied with my purchase with the caveat of the safety failing on me.
