The Umarex Red Dot Sight 8 (RDS8) is a compact and lightweight red dot sight (8 MOA) with two brightness levels. As a universal aiming aid, it is suitable for Umarex optic ready adapter plates and is thus compatible with various airguns, airsoft guns and training equipment. The footprint is the same as that of C-More. A Picatinny universal mount is also included. The RDS 8 is powered by an included CR1632 battery and the battery compartment is located on the bottom of the sight. An integrated auxiliary rear sight takes over when the Red Dot is turned off, meaning you can continue to shoot your target even if the red dot is no longer projected. It is equipped with a simple and intuitive interface. It allows for easy adjustments of windage via the side adjustment screw and elevation adjustment via the top adjustment screw. It mounts easily to a Picatinny rail and will work with Umarex pistol optic adapter plates for mounting to your optic ready airgun or airsoft pistol. A push switch on the side allows for the selection of off and two brightness settings.
