"Really nice looking magazine that does not feed reliably with some AEG AKs. My CYMA CM.036 doesn’t work well with this mag. I am using 0.20 gram BBs of decent quality. A few rounds fire, then dry fire. I found that by tapping on the magazine every few rounds, I can get it to feed. It seems like the spring is too weak perhaps.

As far as looks, if you need some realistic-looking mags to imitate steel, these are great. I scuffed mine with a Scotch-Brite pad to take off the shine, then subbed some silver paint on the ribs and other high areas to simulate paint worn through to steel.

These magazines load easily with my Lancer 110 round speed loader, using the default tip.

The opening for the BBs and the lip that plugs into the rifle is a bit rough and the end of the feed tip is not perfectly round or squared off. If these magazines could be disassembled, I would do some sanding of the rough areas and check out the spring and follower to make sure they are not binding. These magazines are glued together and do not disassemble for maintenance.

At the cheap sale price, maybe get some for the look and if they work well in your AEG AK, then that’s a bonus.

Btw, there is a little five-pointed star on the side of the magazine and I painted mine a faded red color just because it looks cool.
