Ares 130rd Polymer Mid-Cap Magazine for Ares SR-25 / AR308 Series Airsoft AEG Rifles (Color: Black)

"I fortunately was able to aquire 12 of these. I bought the last box directly from Ares. But I must say they suck. They claim 130 rnds you’d be lucky to get 80-90 in. Also some of the mags send wild flyers all over on occasion (usually at worst time) now I own the ares 308m and 308L and I love the gun itself especially after installing brushless motors. But the lack of availability for mags especially mid caps that hold over a hundred rounds is disturbing. So I found some sr-25 250 rnd mags that don’t fit because the hole where bbs come thru is at front of mag while ares is middle. So I got creative. Long story short with absolutely no hacking on the gun itself I have an ics cxp ape hopup I modified tremendously, then let the barrel nut out slightly to slow about a quarter inch gap with the barrel on internally. I placed a shim I made here. Next I knew I needed a longer nozzle. Got that to the correct length and bam. Now I can use the 250 rnd mags! So now I’m getting a 3D prototype to patent. I already poor man’s patented it so now to pull the trigger and produce more of these so folks fa enjoy the gun they bought with no mags to be found. Soon there will be many more options.
