" I really like these 1911's. They feature painted sights, a spurred hammer and a piccatiny rail. I have 3 of these, and am getting a 4th soon. The orange tip IS a threaded muzzle, so you can literally just put a suppressor right over top of ot. And yes, it is roughly a half inch long, with 14mm neg threading. Other than that, I enjoy getting anywhere from 8-12 magazines(15rds) out of 1 Co2 powerlet. My FAVORITE feature is the fact that you don't need to rack the slide, but simply cock the hammer and YES it will fire. It's an amazing full blowback pistol, and at this price it's a good deal. Also 25 rds extended mags are available!! hope this helps. Also wood grips are plastic not real, but I guess that makes em waterproof. You can always get aftermarket grips I'm sure
