WE-Tech G3A3 Airsoft GBB Rifle

"Just got this beauty yesterday. I put maybe 200 rounds .02 through it and the chrono was hot, started at 417 and down to 361 that is with 28 shots after the first 5 down range the FPS went down and stayed around 365 which is fine for a guy like me that just does target shotting. Before my pros and cons some notes. 1- The outer barrel was loose and the alien key under the flash hider was loose needed some lock tight. 2- Make sure the bolt is pulled back before you insert a magazine, that takes some practice to get seated and locked and be sure the switch in the back of the mag is down or it won't fire. 3- When you take it down make sure the bolt is back when you seat the trigger group and do not force it. The orange tip comes off easy with boiling water but get the retaining pin out first which is hard I have to rethread the barrel, I got my suppressor and or flash hider on but was hard.
Pros
1- Heavey like the real G3A3
2- Loud (LOVE IT) like the real one too as I saw in video's never shot one.
3- FPS is great for me and get 3 mags on a fill
4- Before my I zoned my red/ green dot reflex optic using iron sites groupings were tight actually I did not need the reflex the iron sight was great, but I like the look with the flip magnifier.
5- Hop is easy to get at and stiff will not move after firing.
6- Recoil was fantastic for a GBBR, I don't think it is more than my We Tech M14, but the loudness makes it feel more.
7- Take down is so easy to clean and maintain.
8- Little to no wobbling on the stock or hand guard. Build is really good
Cons
1- You have to be careful reseating the lower when you push back into the upper some parts on the trigger group do not alien perfect.
2- Magazines a bit hard to seat have to practice it to get it right first time.
3- The switch in the back of the magazine is a pain if you do not push it down before you insert the mag it will not fire, I thought I had a bad rifle at first.
4- The flash hider moves; they put an alien key under to hold but was loose had to take out and lock tight it.
5- The outer barrel holds together with the flash hider, but where it connects to the rifle was loose had to tighten it.
6- The trigger parts are not made out of real steel which will break but they sell parts here when they come in stock, I will be replacing them as I did on my We Tech M14, but this is a We Tech thing always
7- This is just me I guess, I see all the Umarex H&K license trademarks in the picture here on the trigger group which We Tech has and in the description of the G3A3 here it says "High strength stamped steel receiver for realistic weight and durability w/ authentic markings" and the only authentic markings on mine is the safety switch "S/E/F". I read up on it, and it is common for We Tech not to put it on, so they don't have to pay Umarex a fee. It's just something I would have liked to see on the trigger.
Aside from these petty cons I mentioned this is a great weapon and really allot of fun to shot. If you are into GBBR's and or a collector, then this is for you or a gamer because it is accurate get this rifle you will not be disappointed. I would give it a 9 out of 10 if I could

Gotta say favorite airsoft gun of all time.
Pros
1 recoil is crazy for an airsoft gun. I own a real steel century arms clone. This does a good job replicating the recoil impulse feel if it was about 50% lighter. Kinda has that roller delayed feel even tho the airsoft one is not.
2 accuracy and range out the box are very competitive haven't felt it necessary to swap from stock barrel or bucking.
3 external fit and finish of this beast is great 9/10
4 the sound when fired has to be the stuff of rental kids nightmares I've shot 22lr rifles that were quieter. Can't think of any other gbbr as loud.
5 very simple to maintain.easy field stripping and cleaning.
6 hk slapped for over a year no issues

Cons
1 Stock hammer and trigger components are weak
2 Original bolt cracked and needed a full replacement likely my fault tho running a NPAs and red gas in the cold.
3 Stock, the semi auto and full auto are a little sluggish ik the g3 isn't a fast shooter but out the box it's just a little teeny bit lethargic when trying to get fast semi shots off. (Get a Poseidon super recoil spring kit ,the spring in the kit is useless for the g3 but the spacer in the kit will make it a fair bit snappier in semi auto)
4 front sight/barrel wiggle minor but present.
5rear sight is gray and looks out of place .... Y do this WE...
6 stock fps is hot get an npas
Overall highly recommend getting one while you can.

Ps z parts steel trigger kit, Poseidon super recoil spring kit and Ra tech NPAs arent necessary but do help alot

"Though it has a big price tag, for any G3 fan it is very worth it.

Sound, fps, ergonomics, furniture, and build quality are all fan freakin-tastic

Comes with a -14 threaded barrel too and kicks so hard it broke the switch on one of my tracer units!
