Features High quality CNC finished cast aluminum receiver w/ licensed Colt rollmarks CNC finished EMG Daniel Defense licensed MK18 Mod1 aluminum quad rail Uses Marui's proprietary Next Generation Recoil Shock system (NGRS) to simulate recoil and muzzle flip When utilizing the NGRS magazine, mock bolt will lock back after the last round Adjustable 6 position stock w/ storage compartment Removable flip up front & rear sights Realistic recoil and weapon function The Tokyo Marui Next Generation Recoil Shock System (NGRS) helps to bridge the realism of a gas blowback rifle with the convenience and performance of an AEG. Utilizing a reciprocating weight, simulated recoil and muzzle flip is generated to simulate an actual cycling bolt. Additional features include an electronic bolt lock back function that locks the bolt back upon firing the last BB from the magazine, the rifle will then stop firing until a loaded magazine is inserted and the bolt stop pressed (feature only works with Tokyo Marui NGRS magazines).
Unlike Tokyo Marui Airsoft guns of the past, the new Recoil Shock System rifles now feature metal receivers instead of all polymer as well as fully licensed trademarks to add to the realism of these replicas. Combined with Tokyo Marui's high quality internals and stock dependability, these rifles are great to skirmish out of the box or as a base for high performance projects.
While the Tokyo Marui NGRS system has been around for nearly a decade in the Asian market, their availability has been limited/restricted due to licensing and importation issues; however through Evike.com and partners, the tried and true NGRS system rifles are now finally going to be readily available state-side.
Patterned after the original ArmaLite AR-15, Colt rifles have been in the hands of the US Military as well as many civilian enthusiasts since the adoption of the M16 combat rifle. Through years of hard use and first hand feedback to improve and evolve the weapon platform, the Colt M4 and M16 has risen to be one of the most popular and trusted combat rifles around the world.
The US SOCOM Mk18 Mod1 is the latest iteration of the CQB-R idea. A short-barreled M4 designed for the modern battlefield and potential of room-to-room and door-to-door entry and combat.

" Welp I wasnt always a big fan of TM. Quite honestly the low fps really made me not want to get this gun initially. However my itch for a bit more realism was ultimately the reason why I got this. I'm not going to lie spending up to 1000 for this gun, it's mags, and even a battery adaptet really sank my heart and my wallet. However my thoughts immediately changed after playing with it. Dont let the low fps fool you, I'm sure you've all heard about the marui magic and this mk18 replica most definitely delivers in terms of range. I've ran this through several open play matches and even my local fields operation milsim like event and the tm recoil exceeds my expectations.
I really like the aspect of the gun locking up after the final round has been shot and have to perform a reload that requires me to hit the bolt catch. I've been in a lot of adrenaline inducing moments of running out when there are enemies pushing up torwards me and having that bit of realism is really fun to play with. The recoil, although not as strong, is okay but definitely not really the main reason why I bought this gun. The ability to set all your mags to 30 rounds is a nice option but definitely can be to hardcore to use when you have a field with people running 100 plus rounds in just 1 mag.
Despite all the good there is no doubt some bad. First off dont expect to use your typical lipo or nmih batteries. This gun runs off a proprietary 8.4v battery sold by tm. However I ended up buying the laylax battery conversion to use my 7.4 battery. Please also note to not use a 11.1v when this gun is bone stock. You will kill this gun quicker by doing so and TM tends to kast forever if you dont push it's performance outside it's stock internals. Another complaint I have is no easier way to adjust the hop up. Most of my m4s have a bolt hold, but the TM recoil you have to hold the bolt back and adjust. Not too much of a problem but can be annoying mid game.
Overall this gun is a steep purchase. I would definitely not recommend this for beginner simply because of how expensive it is for a gun that has proprietary almost everything. However if you are looking to change your play style to something more realistic without getting a gbbr then this is the next best things. Again dont let that low fps fool you. It hits far and the realism is no doubt a blast to use. This has been a big purchase for me, but a purchase that I ultimately do not regret. This mk18 get's my thumbs up.
" Build quality on the TM MK18 is astonishingly supreme, it's just eye candy to look at as well.
" Beautiful gun, very quality made. No surprise, from Tokyo murai. Also a good weight but not to the point to where it’s exhausting. Even the iron sights are enjoyable, I mainly buy sights because it’s annoying to use iron sights lol. You will not regret buying this piece!
