"Purchased the product explicitly to reduce weight and remove the unsightly MP5k factory hand grip which gets in the way of reloading my MP5k. This product does both, better then any other product out for AEG MP5ks. If you intend to use this product to actually use the M-Lok or Keymod mounts, you'll most likely bend the handguard should you ever apply pressure on whatever you mount on this handguard.

"First off, this does not fit a umarex mp5k. It lacks the rails that slot the guard securely into place. Front pin locks tight, but any weight or pressure on the handguard will bend it out of shape/ place on the back end. Maybe it'll work on a clone or gbb, but not the most common mp5k model.

Now with the bad outta the way, on to the good things about this order. Since i ordered it from evike and not ebay or whatnot i was able to return this for store credit with almost zero hassle. My only gripe when returning is it has to be UPS. Usps was much closer to me. Other than some hard luck and fitment issues, i can't really blame evike. I would only say maybe they should put a disclaimer on this for umarex because it wasn't just my mp5k it didn't fit, it's every umarex mp5k.

"The dimensions were too short for the brand MP5K I have so mileage will vary on uniformity. Thx to Evike for being able to accept my refund, will have to keep shopping for a suitable rail.
