"This rifle is Very high quality. Probably one of my favorite rifles. (Mainly because of CS:S) When I first got it, It was shooting very hot for some odd reason. Definitely invest in the maple leaf system for this. Its worth the upgrade. The gun-metal grey finish makes this gun look that more sexy. I would recommend buying a sight for this rifle as the iron sights are kind of garbage (I wish GHK made the oldschool SG550 HK diopter sights for it.) At first dissembling it maybe overwhelming, but re-assembling it was a nightmare. The magazines seem good enough, though I wish GHK made a version without the useless Magazine lugs that hang out the side of the Magazines, You won't want to use those as they are loose when attached to eachother. The SAW style pistol grip at first was rough on my palm, but I somewhat got use to it. There are limited options on what you can replace the pistol grip with. If you buy a magnified optic for it, you'll probably want to invest in a Cheek riser for it. (The ICS or other airsoft brands won't fit on the GHK's stock. I bought the Realsteel Cheek riser made by Swiss Arms.) In my opinion the Cheek riser makes the SIG look even that more rough. I did have to tweek the trigger to my liking. SIG rifles are notorious for have terrible trigger pulls, even the airsoft variants.

Pros:
-Swiss made Carbine which is extremely unique to the GBBR world.
-Full Steel construction (Receiver, Barrel, 3-prong flash hider, selector) Literally everything that is metal, I was impressed.
-Sexy grey finish.
-Short maneuverable rifle.
-Magazine are decent and decently priced.
-Can be modified internally.
-Comes with 2x picatinny rail sections for handguard.

Cons:
-Very expensive. (Worth it imo)
-Garbage trigger pull out of the box, but is an easy fix.
-First time opening up its internals might be tricky for some.
-Iron sights are disgustingly bad.
-Magazine design renders the magazine lugs useless, as they are too loose.
-Shoots like a Bolt-Action sniper rifle out of the box. (Mine did atleast, over 1.6 Joules) May need to tweek it before fielding it.
-Airsoft produced Cheek risers is not compatible. (Real Steel Swiss Arms Cheek riser is, but expensive.)

"By Far the most robust, accurate, realistic and efficient GBBR. The best bang for your buck of any airsoft replica on the market today. Period.

"I bought a custom engraved Cerakote version 553 from Samoon. Out of the box I was not too happy (an internal part was missing from when Samoon disassembled/reassembled the custom engraving). They sent me the part free and it arrived less than a week later. Note: This would not have happened with a non-custom engraved version. Also, the front foregrips still had the manufacturing burrs on the front of them which made them very tight, and getting the takedown pins out nearly impossible (hammer and punch required). After sanding the burrs off and the sharp edges (just some TLC which should have been done by QA) everything fits fine. Also, because the inside of the receiver is cerakote, it doesn't make for good metal-on-metal contact. Therefore, the bolt was a bit sticky. But silicone oil, a microfiber cloth, and just working it back at forth, it's great now. Lastly, the magazine was a little leaky, but some silicone oil and working the valve a bit fixed it.

I did add a stronger recoil spring and also the maple leaf hop-up/inner barrel.

Performance? Amazing. Shoots about 430 FPS with .2s. The recoil is amazing, and the ROF is fast. With the hop adjusted and .28s I can easily pick off soda cans at 100 feet (with the flip up iron sites). 3 round burst is perfect and I have not experienced any failures as reported on some earlier versions. Everything is snappy and crisp. Even the selector switch clicks nicely. The folding stock is solid and not flimsy at all.

Things to note: There are 3 models available. The 553 Cerakote, the 553 Tactical QPQ, and the 551 Tactical QPQ. QPQ is a blued finished much like an AK. Cerakote is the dull Sig Grey. If you want a Cerakote 551, you will have to buy the 553 Cerakote plus the 551 conversion kit. Just FYI.

Initial build quality: Mixed (Due to Samoon, and the factory not doing any fitting before it shipped. Just jammed together and put in the box.)
Construction: Excellent. Stamped/welded steel, glass nylon polymer construction, steel internals. Looks/feels like the real deal.
Performance: Excellent. 430fps w .2s. Fast ROF, excellent recoil. You will really have to hold it tightly to have any kind of group on burst/auto.
Cool factor: Not a Kriss Vector, or even magpul FPG type of eye catching- but it's a very nice change from an M4/AK. I absolutely love the look. The Cerakote Sig Grey finish will stand out in any collection. Compact gun that packs a lot of punch. Could be used outdoors or CQB.

*Please note: Like all GBBRs, this is definitely not a beginners gun. If you don't like taking gas guns apart and tinkering with them this is not the gun for you. It is super reliable as long as it's all lubed correctly and broken in. Not a gun you can neglect, leave it the closet and just pick it up and go play. Absolutely amazing gun when taking care of.
