Bear in mind that the 16'' Recce Internal barrel is not 363mm it is 380mm. Found out after I purchased an aftermarket barrel upgrade.

"I got one of these in the Independence Day box of awesome. I am actually really happy with the gun so far. I haven’t used it on the field yet, but this will allow me to do more CQB without having to change my mags and gear over to SMG compatible pouches. Has a snappy trigger response. My only two minor complaints is the mini suppressor doesn’t tighten down all the way and is constantly rattling.. I used a few wraps of white Teflon tape around the threads and it tightened it right up. The other thing is the stock is a little small and you are somewhat limited to what kind of batteries you can fit in there. If you are using the recommended batteries then it shouldn’t be too much of a problem though. The only upgrade to this gun I will be making is a different stock and put a reflex sight on it. Everything else works great.

"Just received this for my son's birthday, have only done a visual check, so far, gun is awesome, very well built, not too heavy, full metal, got the 8" which I preferred the longer barrel version, but this was on sale and ended up being perfect size for my son.
Bought a few mags to try out (EMG Helios Hexmag, 6mmProShop 140rd, Evike High RPS Polymer Training Mag, Evike.com BAMF GEN2 mid caps) so far all fit well, a couple are a little loose but nothing significant, will update with more thorough review after running mags through with shooting.
Did buy the Titan Power batteries, both 7.4 3000 mAh, nunchuck and stick, both will fit in buffer tube, however nunchuck will not fit in the side comparments of the stock, the nunchuck is a little too long and it is a tight fit. Have not tested their power for this gun at this time, will try to update after use.
So far, very cool gun, feels good, looks good, ready to have some fun!

"This thing is great. I just got this gun the other day and i can't say enough how much i like this gun.Feels very solid i don't have any issues with any wobble or anything.I also have not yet had any issues with magazines not working. I put a red dot on it and i am getting very consistent accurate shots feeds smooth and is just a blast to shoot,The only thing is i grabbed a battery with a tamiya connector as stated and mine came wired for a deans luckily i had one on hand.Other then that this is a great gun and it looks even better in person.I would certainly recommend this if your considering it.

"Bought this as my first aeg and I must say I am not disappointed! This thing is a beast! Would totally recommend. Only thing is I had to put a lot of rounds through it for the hop up to start working but that’s a lot of new guns out of the box from what I heard. Other than that GET IT!!

"THIS GUN IS BEAST. The slim grip is incredible and over all it feels great and extremely realistic.
Most of the gun is metal, other parts are extremely hard ABS polymer so the gun isn't too heavy.

The electronic trigger feels nice and superior to all other M4, you can get addicted to this. Extremely fun to shoot! California legal full auto baby!

"I have owned this gun for a couple years now, I absolutely love it, I also know of 3 other people who have bought different variations of this platform, all have very positive things to say. Out of the box it performs beautifully, like any other aeg tho, gotta replace that bucking, inner barrel, and hop unit. After my time using this gun and a few other people as well, here are the problems we have encountered over the years. Gearbox is not strong enough for DMR springs, we have had 3 shells break as DMR, the lower receiver is very weak near the area the buffer tube connects, we have had 2 break from getting bumped into the wall (not even very hard). The motor works great but needs some work, one burnt out, another simply malfunctioned, and the one of the contact points on the other one randomly broke off. One mosfet burnt out/malfunctioned, and the stock piston will go out on you eventually even with upgraded teeth. On the positive side, the gears are VERY well made, still look pretty new today and im still running the stock gears, but I have replaced almost everything else, and at this point it is an absolute beast! So if you are looking for a gun to upgrade and not leave stock, its definitely a good option, lots of potential and it gives you a lot to work with to start off. Definitely worth the purchase overall. Just had its issues in the beginning

"This rifle is ergonomically perfect and sturdy. After a few upgrades (Hop-up unit, bucking, barrel, piston, cylinder, air nozzle) this gun performs and feels amazing. Disassembly took much longer than usual due to cheap pins/springs/piston. As long as you are comfortable working on a gearbox I would recommend this to anyone that wants a ergonomic rifle.

Deans connectors
Electronic trigger (programmable fire modes with tool)
Easy spring access
M-Lok
Thin motor for realistic grip
Ball bearing washers for gears
Ergonomic feel on Spartan Helmet lower receiver (doesn't need fore-grip in my opinion)
Delay chip on sector gear (improved feeding)

Cons:
Cheap hop unit needs to be replaced
Pretty sure the piston head was secured to the piston by the hulk (piston head broke in half trying to unscrew it)
Very stiff pin for the bolt catch (disassembly took much longer than other M4)
Cheap springs for tappet plate and trigger (too small and come undone way too easy)

"Got this out of a Box of Awesomeness.
Was a great gun up until the stock tube part of the lower receiver snapped off from a 2ft fall onto gravel. Rest of the gun still functions perfectly. Great trigger response and pretty consistent out of the box. It's unfortunate that the receiver is made of such a low quality metal. Have had cheap cyma get run over by an truck and not break like this did from a short fall.

Pros
Slim motor grip like real steel.
Quick trigger response with true semi auto function
MLOK -my preference
Drop free maxwell with every mag I've tried.

Cons
Weak rear receiver
Front of mags can get caught on cutouts in front of maxwell
