The bearings come with a thickness of 2.5mm to prevent any interference with your selector plate and reduces the need for any modifying of your gearbox shell. Additionally, due to the shallow thickness of the bearings, you can fine tune your shimming even more for a precise fit.

" Have these in a 18:1 DSG 400 FPS build and after a year still holding strong!!!
" Yes! These are J-Caged bearings. They have extremely tight build tolerances and are by far the most precise and smooth bearings I’ve ever used. Durability seems somewhat above average so far; I am using them in a DSG/High speed Motor/14.8V 75c Lipo and after ~14 hours of CYCLE TIME (~ 90 hours of use over 7 months) from testing and gameplay they surprisingly appear to have minimal wear and tear and rotation has only become slightly hindered. No friction damage that is perceivable to the eye.
