" Just got this from Evike two days ago. Have only shot a couple times in back yard to test functionality, but I gotta say this thing is nice! First shot went WAY farther than expected, over the fence (75+ feet away) and tagged neighbors gutter making a horrible BANG which I’m sure scared the crap out of them. Instructions aren’t great, written in broken English, and recommend about a 12 second shot of green gas to charge shell. This is way too much. Go conservative and play around with different charges before you take it to the field. Shell is solid and heavy, feels like machined aluminum, and hopefully will last a while. I do wish I bought three shells instead of just one when I ordered, but didn’t want to drop $135 all at once and have them underperform. This was not the case, as I so far have been impressed. I’m new to launchers, so can’t compare these to Taginn, but for the price you can’t go wrong. And, I noticed as of today - 6/4/21 they’re on sale for $35. Grab some with the breakable caps and bases and you won’t be sorry.
" Really enjoying this round. It checks all the boxes - it is an actual grenade projectile with usable range (got three shots in a row out to 200ft, firing into wind), but not a Tagin so suitable for open field play.
" this is basically the younger brother of Taginn, you get 60% of the performance of a tagiin shell for half the price, but I do like the look as it resembles the look of a 40mm much better than taginn shell, plus it fit in a 40mm shell pouch. the max range if about 120-140 ft, The trajectory is stable which make the shot predictable. The slug is much more durable then the taginn pecker. I am using 12kg green gas for testing.
