Retro Arms CNC Aluminum AK Hopup Cube

FYI: I got both of the cubes as black. Not what I was expecting, but this really didn't affect me.

This does exactly as advertised. It's basically a regular hop up cube, but with a modification that allows you to screw in the plate that covers up the gap between the hop up cube and the front of the inner hole that accepts the magazine.

The first time I put this on, it felt finicky, the hop up cube is very blocky, and I had trouble getting the front plate to attach. The gap was sometimes too small. However, after I got better at pushing the hop up into the gearbox, the plate had plenty of room to fit.
I can assure anyone that this will fit any ak without a problem (except maybe aks-74us). If you do have a problem, try making sure that the hop up is pushed right up against the gearbox nozzle to form a seal.

I have a CYMA 040D AK-105

"If you want to be able to load your compatible ak quickly and without looking into the magwell everytime than this is the upgrade for you! Its light very well built, does not come black and red though its all aluminum colored. My gun is a CYMA CM045 ak 74u it fit right in and the hop up chamber fit right on it it. Note: install the hop up on the block then install it on the gun then install the magwell spacer from the magwell its easy and functional, I love it.

"Bought this to fit my e&l ak 74 gen 2. It does not fit. It is too big. Maybe able to fit if you sand it down but i havent got the skills or the equipment to do that.
