"This gun was an emergency buy. And may I say it more than saved me. I was going to a milsim where the previous year you could use a sniper at age 16. The rules updated to 18 the year I was going.i bought this thinking an average aeg and it would just work for me. LET ME TELL YOU THIS THING OUTRANGED ALMOST ALL OTHER AEGS ON THE FIELD( including krytacs ) this thing is a beast and I can hit things up to 250ft sometimes it's accurate and has long range no question this is the best aeg I own.

"Disclaimer: I’m not the typical airsoft player

This gun is and has been amazing! My first gun ever was the Cyma M16A4. Bought by accident and wanted the A1.
There is zero difference between the two other than the hand guard. Same internals.
Gun can easily be upgraded as it’s a common gun type. There are millions of parts available. You can even make this a DMR if you like. I have both my A1 and A4 scoped because of my poor eyesight but in reality all that’s makes a DMR on the field is the FPS.
Out of the box, this is a good gun. It has reach, is accurate and is reliable.
Like I said, I own 2 of them. Maybe I’m biased but I’m quite pleased with this gun. 🪖✌️

"I got this gun about a year ago. It's been in my storage shed for awhile and everything seems to be good. The accuracy is great, it's a very maneuverable gun outside, and it has room for the right slingshot. Only downside is it is not a exact replica of a actual m16, but with a VN mag, nobody would be able to tell the difference.

I highly recommend this durable airsoft gun.

"Fiance bought as gift three years ago.
Good gun took some time for hopup to work right but after about 6,000 rounds it just started working fine so I didn't send it back. Now it's my baby after sitting on shelf for a year I got red dot and a can (silencer) with 20 round mags. Good for what I like.

"This gun is amazing!!! Satisfies all my Vietnam needs. Shoots pretty hard and contains all metal in places where there should be metal. Crappy decals on the side of the gun but this can be ignored. Fits the JG three prong flash hider and 20 round Vietnam style hi-caps. the model resembles the m16A1 but has a m16a2 lower receiver (barely noticeable.) I give it 9 rice fields out of 10 (minus 1 point for inaccuracies)...

"Great build quality, almost all metal (Grip, handguard and stock are polymer), nice skull engraving, metal hi cap mag, hop up, and adjustable sights. One downside is the flash suppressor is not three pronged. Easily replaced, however.

"What an awesome gun, sooo good! I’m waiting for it to break or jam or something cause it was pretty cheap but bro this thing is going hard after several skirmishes . An accurate and fast shooter

Pros - great build quality highly accurate up 40-50ft looks tough reminds me of the punisher

Cons - doestt come with battery or charger this gun is very long that’s what she said

"For 150, this gun is awesome. CYMA guns never disappoint

Pros:
Stright and accurate (using .25)
Lots of battery room (I use a small type)
Full auto is pretty fast, and it sounds good to.
Reciver is metal

Cons:
Handguard is made of cheap plastic, the stock is made of plastic as well but it feels more sturdy. (not a big deal)
In semi, you cant feather the trigger. You must pull the trigger all the way, or else the gun will lock up on you. If that does happen, just switch it to full, shoot, and switch it back.

All in all, 5/5, great starter gun.

"Let me just say it flat out- This is a fantastic gun. CYMA makes incredible products. Most of my guns are CYMA, and they're fantastic.

Pros:

Accurate- I was hitting moving targets at a range exceeding 150 feet with .28s. All the internals are stock and will remain stock unless they break. This thing is a laser beam. It would be an effective DMR platform if that interests you.

Sturdy- I have thrown this thing, run into trees, and have been generally rowdy with it. It's stood up to it all.

Looks- It looks amazing. Some people might dislike the fact that it comes with a standard STANAG 30rd style mag instead of a Vietnam style mag, but I actually consider that a bonus. I bought it expressly for a US Army Infantry Rifleman kit circa 1989/1990, so the STANAG 30rd mag is appropriate. You could always buy VN style mags, of course.

Weight- It's light as a feather. Compared to my CYMA AK-47 it's nothing! It maybe weighs around 4-6 lbs? This is nice because as I said earlier, it's still rock solid feeling.

Rate of Fire- This thing has a pretty good rate of fire. It's no MG42 or wacked out hillbilly with a polarstar'd SCAR, but it certainly isn't a springer! I have no definitive number for the rate of fire, but I'd say it's around 20-25 rounds a second. If you schlapped a drump/C Mag and a bipod on it, you'd have a very nice LMG that you can actually carry.

Indifferences-
Obviously no rail space. I don't really care about rails, as the kit I got this for wouldn't use them anyway. You could swap out the handguard for an M16A4 style, but it technically wouldn't be a true M16A4 because of the fixed carry handle and a few other details. Only the most anal-retentive gun nut would blast you on it, though.

Cons- (spoiler alert: not many!)

Handling- Being a top tier LONG BOI, it's pretty unwieldy at times. I recommending finding a nice piece of cover and posting up there.

Hot- It runs a little hot out of the box with anything below a .28. With a .25 it registers around 420(nice) FPS, too hot for my local field. It just needs time to break in, I hope.

Overall I would absolutely recommend you acquire this firearm.

10/10 would camp in a window and use it as a fixed LMG again.

"I cannot believe this rifle. out of the box it out shoots my upgraded Krytac MkII. it has a slower ROF, but its accuracy makes that irrelevant. (rof on an 11.1 2200mah is about 16rps, not bad my my crb gets 22rps) I have my CRB R hopped and this rifle out shoots it easy. Time will tell with the longevity. as of now the performance is out of this world.

Now I got this rifle for a vietnam impression, Its the closest you can get for under 200 bucks. and it WAY nicer than the JG, which, I am glad I did not get.

As far as impressions, it has the tapered delta ring which is not period correct, niether are the cheesy trademarks, but unless you a purist, and a stupid one at that, very forgivable. the polymer in the handguards and stock/grip, are pretty platically, but arent that much different than the real ones ive shot. but i am looking at replacing it all with real furniture, as theyd be marginally better. The gun is very light, which is a pro, as for big milsim i tend to run an M249, I may throw this on my back. JIC.

Overall, this is a fantastic suprise to have recieved, I am currently looking at other cyma AR series to see if they meet this as a standard, look for the cheesy bamf logo.

"Absolutely love the rifle! I’ve had it for a little over two years and the only reason it messed up is because I decided to try and work on it. Definitely buying another though
by Emmett L. on 07/12/2019
"There is absolutely NO major malfunction about this rifle! It is wonderful. Everything is sturdy. Everything is right. It's extremely accurate up to ~36 meters/120 feet in Semi. It's less accurate on Full Auto, but seeing as I'm primarily a Semi Auto player, it's not a huge issue. Now, contrary to to what many would expect, I am NOT using it to build a Vietnam kit. I'm using it for a mid/late 1980s/Desert Storm US Army kit. It works extremely well for this loadout. It also works well for my 80s GTA Vice City inspired loadout, and my 80s "CIA in Paradise" loadout. Basically, if you want the basis for a solid 1970s-1990s loadout, GET THIS RIFE!

Pros:
Full Metal
Schmecksy
Lightweight, but not cheap feeling
Accurate

Cons:
I'm on the shorter side, 5'6", so it's just a tad bit long and unwieldy for ME, personally. But if you're any taller than I, and chances are you are, it will be a good length. Unless you're Andre the Giant, in which case it will be significantly too short.
No other cons.

"First, I would like to say this is a very good gun for what you pay for. I was lucky enough to get it on sale. this gun has a pretty high FPS for a gun of its price, running a 9.6v 1600 maH I got 410-420 FPS on a Chrono. Now I'll talk about the pros and cons of this gun. First, it is decently accurate up to 30 maybe 40 yards before gravity takes its toll on the BB. Second, the high cap magazine is very good and I have not experienced any troubles with it. Third, the trigger is not the best but you can still pull it quite fast but it is not the best for rapid-fire, at the field I go to we can't full auto so Semi only, and the trigger is not the best for the performance I'm looking for. Fourth, it is a very sturdy gun and the only thing that wobbles is the grip but to fix that just put electrical tape on the very front of it and it won't move at all. Fifth, ANY BATTERY FITS IN THE GUN, the battery compartment is in the stock and it is very large so you can put any battery into the stock. That is all I have to say about this gun all in all 5/5. https://www.evike.com/products/31695/ _ the battery I use and would recommend.

"Thank you evike for this awesome aeg! This M16A1 is great! Shoots accurate with .20g and .25g bbs and perfect for Vietnam reenactment!
