The M1903 Springfield, formally the United States Rifle, Caliber .30-06, Model 1903, is an American clip-loaded, 5-round magazine fed, bolt-action service rifle used primarily during the first half of the 20th century.
It was officially adopted as a United States military bolt-action rifle on June 19, 1903, and saw service in World War I. It was officially replaced as the standard infantry rifle by the faster-firing semi-automatic 8-round M1 Garand starting in 1937. However, the M1903 Springfield remained in service as a standard issue infantry rifle during World War II, since the U.S. entered the war without sufficient M1 rifles to arm all troops. It also remained in service as a sniper rifle during World War II, the Korean War, and even in the early stages of the Vietnam War. It remains popular as a civilian firearm, historical collector's piece, and as a military drill rifle.
The S&T 1903A3 bolt action rifle is an outstanding homage to its real steel cousin. Constructed of metal and mounted to exquisitely crafted wood stock the S&T 1903A3 looks as good as it shoots. With a smooth bolt pull the S&T 1903A3 offers solid performance at a fraction of the price you would pay for other 1903 replicas on the market. When compared to other available 1903s, the spring powered system used in the S&T offers more consistent, reliable and hassle free performance, limiting issues on the battle field.

(Write a review) "This beast is a ton of fun!!
44” long yet remarkably light and well balanced. I am used to shooting Traditional old black powder muskets and percussion rifles and the feeling of the stock is very similar. The wood is beautiful and has a darker look to it. Everything is solid and tight.
There were a few small scratches in wood where they mounted the bayonet mount and the sling point. No biggie.
Bolt is a bit stiff but I have yet to try lubing. There is no play or wobble with it at all.
This gun was hitting bullseyes out of the box at 60’ with only a slight adjustment to elevation, which is real easy to do.
I haven’t even need to adjust the hopup at all at 60’ (still at default lowest setting). I have shot 100 rounds and there was no misfires or feeding issues at all. Magazines hold 25 rounds but I only loaded 20 each time after hearing other reviews.
All in all, I really like this gun! Real wood, accurate and pretty. Mind you I am not an airsoft field player like you guys. I am just a backyard target plinker, but in doing so I probably end up using it more so reliability is important to me. "Overall a great gun. Good for WWII loadouts, reenactments, historical milsim events, or just some good ole fashioned airsoft games. Although just a few notes for those who want to buy this...
Magazines: They are not 12 round, they are now 25 round, but they do tend to have feeding issues, so I suggest only putting 20 BBs in each mag
Sling: I have learned from experience that M1 Garand slings aren't compatible with this gun, as the front and rear sling swivels are too small. I suggest using an actual m1903 sling (if you can find one) or a clip-on sling that you would find on a duffel/gym bag will work too
Bolt: It can be a little bit hard to pull back, so a little lube wouldn't hurt
Stock: A little too small for my liking, not sure if an actual m1903 stock is like that, but if it is then don't listen to me :P
*will update review if I find any other problems "This is one of my favorite guns of all time, the wood finish is amazing and the metal is great. I really have no gripes about this gun except for the mag it is a little finicky. The bolt is a little short but that's nothing I can't get used to with a little more use.
Pros: Full metal and real wood, ultra realistic, heavy, great for ww2 loadouts
Cons: bolt is a little to short on the pull Read More Reviews Write a Review
