Matrix Full Metal M16A4 Airsoft AEG Rifle

"The matrix m16a4 full metal, this was my first rifle I bought on June 29th 2024. Being brand new this gun was very affordable, it lasted me until today March 12th 2026.
This gun has been though everything I have through at it, abuse after abuse after abuse, this gun took it and asked for more. I would love to highlight mud rain and even little but of snow. I have had mud so far in this gun that I had the break open the rifle mid trench hopping and shove a ram rod though and she was still running, my gas pistols had jammed in the mud and this rifle took it like a champ.

This gun has lasted me though 1 childhood friendship, a move, almost all of highschool, I got this in the summer of my 8th grade and got a full ride into college before she died has lasted me 3 relationships. You that one friend with a Glock that has 100,000 round on it and lasted him though 3 marriages this is the airsoft equivalence.

It runs on a 11.1v lipo battery and let me tell you the extra abuse the trigger group suffers is worth the felling of responsiveness, if you wish your trigger group to last longer stick with 7.4v or in install mosfet.

It's a heavy rifle for a starter gun too btw please look at the weight

It will except most midcap magazines but be careful with above 300 round high caps that might not fit(I had one that didn't)

The parts and build are great to start and if you take care of this rifle could honestly last you 2 years, if your running your weapon hard and don't know basic maintenance and repair that more likely expect part to not necessary break but wear around the 1 year mark.

WDYM it lasted you till today what broke you may ask:
Outer barrel no longer will stay secured
Handguard rotates
Delta ring work kind just annoying to deal with
Hop-up until bouncing back and forth mostly due to barrel bouncing back and forth
Front sling mount broke
Charging handle/dusk cover broke(in all fairness to the gun this was completely on me during a repair but this is a reality for many people not experienced with repair/maintenance)


Even with all of this happening I could still get some bbs out

It died because it deserves to rest, this rifle has given me memories with friends, new friends and complete strangers that have made a significant impact on my life, these stories I will take with me for the rest of my life. This rifle was my entry into this wonderful hobby/sport and I wouldn't sell that for the world, unlike me matrix will sell that for 149.99 tax

In conclusion if you are someone looking into airsoft for the first time or maybe you have played and now want a starter gun but not go crazy and drop $300-$500 on something In the mid to high range I could not recommend the matrix m16a4 more!

"Others mentioned that the stock is weak, mine came tight but it had a giant gap between it and the lower receiver, if I could ask any thing more I would say redesign the stock and gear box because the base plate is just sitting in the gun which means that the bolt for the stock is screwed into the gear box spring guide.

I recommend getting an EMG Daniel Defense style stock to replace it, it will still wiggle but it’s less of a gap and more sturdy.

But overall this gun is heavy, shoots far, and Looks like a 400$ dollar gun . If u want a beast u can throw this in your cart and add a stock . And it only uses hi cap magazines DO NOT PUT LANCER TACTICAL IN IT.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ . Ps this thing is freaking loud I love it .

"Bought this a year ago basically for all the external parts front end with tbb metal body and full stock put in an upgrade gearbox I had with mosfet m150 spring shoots 500 fps semi auto locked with the Godzilla super torque motor shot thousands of rounds .36-.43 no problem
