"I bought this rifle off a friend a few days after they got it. It works great but the battery that is recommended doesn’t fit right so the handguard can fall off. I looked at CAA’s website and it says the gun takes a double twin type NiCd battery. I don’t know if evike has them but I’ve seen them on amazon.
"First of all this gun arrived in a damaged package. When I opened it up the first thing I noticed was the front sight was broken off. Was pretty disappointed with that. Took it out on the field the next day to test it out worked for about 2 minutes until the gun just flat out stopped working. This problem persisted even after changing the batteries, switching fire modes and mags. At this point, I can only guess that this is a problem with the gearbox as there was no round stuck in the chamber. Overall was very disappointed and would not recommend buying.
"Honestly for my first gun it's a pretty good gun. It's pretty light and not heavy. Its shots really good the motor doesn't heat up. Although you will need a small lipo battery since the battery storage is in the rifling and not the butt stock.( I recommend a 7.4 lipo battery for their size they last forever). The butt stock and the barrel cover is kind of loose but not so much that it would be annoying. In conclusion it's a pretty good gun for a beginner
