FPS: 350 Color: Dark Earth APS Full Size UAR Urban Assault Rifle Airsoft AEG w/ Metal Gear Box - Dark Earth
The new V.2 UAR now features rear wiring to store a much larger battery in the stock and a thicker and larger removable butt plate to extend the battery storage compartment allowing use of a wider range of batteries.
Another improvement made to the V.2 UAR is a modified magazine well to expand magazine compatibility to a greater number of high cap and mid cap magazines as well as an improved and more ergonomic magazine release.
Finally the gearbox has been improved upon for more consistent feeding and cycling during rapid fire thanks to the newly revised air nozzle as well as proper reinforcement to allow the gun to run smoothly on LiPo batteries.
Features: Three Magazine Release button
Unlike the traditional SMG, the UAR has three magazine release buttons. Two buttons are located at the front part of the gun parallel to each other and the other button located next to the magazine housing at the back. Three magazine release buttons allow users to release the magazine in different tactical situation.
Mirror design for both left and right handed users
Magazine Release button is located on both the left and right sides of the gun. The cocking handle has quick detach function allowing users to place the handle on either left or right. Users can operate this gun easily no matter if they are left handed or right handed.
Adjustable Hop Up and functional bolt release catch
Similar to APS ASR Series, the bolt can be locked backward which allows the user to adjust the Hop Up easily. After adjustment, users can simply press down the bolt release button located on the top of the butt stock to release the bolt back to its original position.
The UAR standard comes with 4 side rails. The top and side rails allows players to add lights, scopes, red dots and much more
The UAR comes equipped with a dynamic trigger, ergonomic pistol grip with room to place two 123A batteries. A modified magazine housing allows a user to perform fast reloads without any trouble. The design of the bigger trigger guard is also extremely helpful when a player is wearing gloves.
The UAR uses APS V3 Hybrid gearbox. With its bullpup design, the UAR is a medium size CQC airsoft gun with a long 385mm inner barrel.
Easy Assembling and dissembling
One of the greatest features of the UAR is it's special design where no tools are required when assembling and dissembling. A user can simply disassemble the gun by removing 3 main pins on the lower receiver. The unused main pin can be inserted on the top rail. No tools are required and users can reassemble the UAR in less than 60 seconds.
Hop Up Chamber
For the internals APS has equipped the UAR with a genuine hop up chamber, which is rarely found in other AEGs. The standard velocity of the UAR is 350 FPS which is easily upgradable by changing the main spring. The main spring can easily be changed with the UAR's quick detach feature found on the hybrid gearbox

(Write a review) "Awesome gun! I'm very satisfied with it's performance out of the box and the only complaint from me would be the trigger squeeze is pretty squishy. Great range and accuracy, ak hopup works fine, super easy disassembly. I replaced the motor and promptly stripped the plastic piston teeth. No big deal. I bought a gate warfet and a momentary switch to make the trigger way more responsive. Overall, it's my unicorn. Tenergy valor 1250 mah flat 11.1 fits great with a little dremeling of the buttplate. "Great gun especially for the price. I've had mine for about a year now, but just now got the chance to field it at Iron Fury. Not a traditional Milsim weapon, but it absolutely did its job. I used the highest spring included, and was hitting about 1.5 joules without any other upgrades.
Pros: side rails remove easy
several quality springs included
quick change spring
good weight (feels durable but not like it will fall apart)
my only real gripe is how small the battery compartment in the stock is. it takes some fiddling to get the battery in the right position so that the stock pin can be reinserted. but you get used to it.
it is also picky about what mags it will take. My BAMF mags fit fine, but whatever brand the chrono booth was using did not.
All around, this gun is good for any play style in my opinion. it easily out performed my G&P m4, which i have dumped around a $1000 into. "I put the highest power spring in and chronoed at 301fps with .32 bbs (inside field limits). I also used .32 all day and had no trouble hopping them (probably could go heavier). After Fielding this weapon I can say I'm very impressed, I could fire accurately into windows nearly all the way across medium size fields. I had to leave a tower since I actually started to feel bad for the slaughter. Compared to an m4 it was harder to shoot offhand, so I found myself peeking right most of the day;I need to try a vertical grip. I wanted to build a dmr or try sniping but I think this is as good as it gets for me.
Note: battery isn't in the top rail like most YouTube videos show. It also comes with three springs, the one in the gun isn't labled.
The good: shoots like a Lazer.
Hops heavy bbs.
Chronos within field limits and has extra spring options that are actually easy to change.
Nobody knows what it is.
Sight rail is high enough you can skip risers and still see well with goggles.
The meh: in order to use elite force mags you need to modify the magwell with a dremmel or melt it back(extend the notch back), their is a YouTube video or two explaining this. The magwell can also use a bit of velcro tape to keep mags straight/tight.
APS doesn't sell midcaps for this gun.
If you aren't using lipo batteries now, you will want to convert to use this gun, the biggest battery I can fit is a 3 cell 11.1 lipo, and you will need to be very careful with the wires.
Cons: maybe a bit heavier than expected for a polymer gun. The magazines are hicap but lower capacity, I'd rather it come with one bigger mag than two medium ones. Not sure what midcap mags work without modification.
Tldr: After a few minor alterations it is perfect. My new go to gun I won't be using any other any time soon. I love it! Read More Reviews Write a Review
