Ceramic balls are over 100% harder than steel balls. In a hybrid bearing, the extremely hard and smooth Ceramic Ball keeps raceways clear of contaminants by pushing them away from the contact patch. In addition, the ceramic ball remains extremely smooth, preventing ball to race damage. For the end user, this means reduced bearing wear and longer bearing life at high precision.

I've run steel ball bearings in my gearbox, but these are next level. If you spin one in your hand, you'll immediately feel how smooth they are. There's no "textured" feeling of the balls rolling over the races, it's just smooth as glass (or in this case, ceramic).
Have used these for a few thousand rounds; no complaints. I only run an M120 spring, so not really a severe duty build. They press flawlessly into a Retro Arms gearbox shell (tolerances on both are bang-on). No need for super glue to hold them in.
If you DO press them in, make sure you have a tool of some kind to press the OUTER race of the bearing into the gearbox shell. If you hammer on the center, you could damage the bearing (that goes for any ball bearing, not just these).
"Probably the best 30$ I put into my gearbox. Spins so long and super quiet u cannot hear anything but the piston. 5 outa 5
"Spins great, dont lube them however, seen people destroy them that way. They are lubed during production and should not be tampered with. From a perfect shim with stock bearings, I only had to remove 4x0.1mm shims in total for these to be perfectly shimmed. So far it seems like my gun is shooting more smoothly than before.
These will probably sustain a medium-high stress build.
