"I've ran this at an actual real steel outdoor range and the audio quality was amazing along with the hearing protection. You will hear everything creeping up on you and I can even hear my neighbors arguing about dinner from across the hall while wearing these. A fun trick I've been doing is to wear these on cold days without compromising my hearing as well. Great tactical headset for both airsoft and real steel

"I have used this headset on multiple occasions and it is amazing. Sometimes have trouble hearing people clearly with all the noise at my airsoft field, but all I do is take one earphone off to listen. It really does amplify those small footsteps and noises that could give you the edge in a gun battle.

"Contrary to the description, it takes two AAA Batteries. Other than that, the headband on top wasn't back on mine. (Not really a problem)

The noise equalization works like a charm, you can hear someone having a normal level conversation 20-30 feet away from you as if they were right next to you. It also makes impulse noises quieter, so you could shoot and wear these as protection. I don't have a radio that's compatible with these but it does have a 3.5mm headphone jack and it comes with a cord. Said cord is special though, because it comes with threading on it so it won't fall out. I did test it with my phone too, and they'll play music, which is a plus, I guess.
