Element 3X Magnifier w/ Flip to Side Mount

"Immediate thoughts: Mixed upon opening. The color is slightly darker than the photo. I would say it leans more towards "Sand" rather than "Dark Earth". The "Flip to Side" feature I'm used would be being spring assisted, so it was surprising to see that this magnifier uses a stiff pull to lock it to the side. Once it is in place however, it's pretty sturdy there. The lends are really clear and give a good amount of eye relief. No problems while using glasses, a little adjusting while using goggles. The only thing that bugged me was the rubber seems to be a bit loose at the front and the mold line, but that's easily cleaned off.

First event thoughts: I used it for a 2-day event, first day having 7 hours of rain. I would arguably say that it was one of the most durable pieces of equipment I brought to the event. No issues with it fogging up, nor any rain getting where it shouldn't be. My gun bounced around a lot, but the rail mount held tightly. It didn't once flip on its own. It was extremely helpful identifying targets. I usually had it flipped to the side and just tilted my gun to look through it.

I would say it's a useful accessory to own.
