EMG Metal Flash Hider for M4 Airsoft AEGs - Version 1 (Model: 14mm Negative)

"I bought this for my G36 build, as I had long since broken off the original flash hider. For its intended purpose, it performs admirably. It feels very sturdy and well built, to the extent that I briefly wondered if I had accidentally bought a real muzzle brake. It appears to have threading of some kind around the base of the brake, which I'd imagine mates with some kind of proprietary suppressor. The muzzle brake package includes a rubber o-ring, the use of which I don't know. I placed it in the threads before screwing the brake on, assuming it to be some method by which to bind the brake to the rifle.
It screws and unscrews easily, although you aren't likely to lose it on the field. It sits at about a forty-five degree attitude when screwed on all the way, so not quite straight and narrow.

All in all, it rounds out a rifle quite nicely and looks very aggressive. Interestingly enough, it is just barely too wide to remove a G36's forend without unscrewing the brake.
