Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 5.1 Gas Blowback Pistol (Color: Black)

"First off, my background: Ex military (U.S. Marine Corps Master Gunnery Sergeant) and current law enforcement. That being said, I know how to handle and sight in a side arm!! Ordered this TM hi capa 5.1 to see what all the hype was about and the hype is well deserved if I do say so myself after shooting this pistol for the first time ever. I've got several W.E. 1911 hi capas and after messing with them for sometime have them zeroed in the best they'll ever be without mods at 60ft/20yrds laying in 5"-6" groupings at that range using .28 bbs. This is indoor range shooting with no wind to contend with. Took the TM straight out of the box when I received it, filled the mag with PROPANE and the same .28 bbs I use in all my gbb pistols and started sighting it in. Here's the honest to Gods truth, took me ONE MAG to get the hop up adjusted for the .28's and then the rear sight dialed in and I was consistantly getting 3" groupings!!!
I was totally amazed!!!! This is a gbb airsoft gun (basically a toy) straight out of the box with zero anything done to it besides hop up adjustmet and sights zeroed shooting 3" groupings at 60ft. I have heavily modded competition real steel 1911's that I can EASILY do that with using expensive competition match grade ammunition but with my stock real steel 1911's shooting high quality off the shelf ammunition, it would be close. I will be modding the hell out of one of my W.E. hi capas now just to see if I can get the accuracy out of it that I have with this bone stock TM hi capa. I doubt it'll happen!! If you're on the fence about getting a TM hi capa, get the hell off it and just buy one, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!! Its a great gun and I'm now a firm believer in the TM hype!

it was fun out of the box and even after shooting thousands and thousands of rounds, I haven't cracked the slide.

I recently made a custom "sleeper" build with aftermarket parts and reused my original TM slide, blowback unit, and nozzle.

Honestly, I've bought a thousand dollars in aftermarket parts multiple other Hi Capa guns chasing the quality and reliability of the out-of-the-box TM gun. Buying the TM is worth every penny, buy it use it and if something does happen to break, you can replace that part and keep going.

"Great pistol for cqb plastic slide breaks if used with green gas for so long. About 310 fps with green gas. Never jams and works great in cold conditions.
