"This handgaurd works fine, it’s just as good as any others but you need to know what you’re buying. The fact that this doesn’t fit on AK105 or short barrel AK’s is not a design flaw it’s because this is B-31 made for AK74’s with full length barrels. If you have a AK105 you need B-31S or B-31U model upper handgaurds. Also pay attention to the number of legs your upper has. B-31S is the sport model and has 6 legs instead of 8 because it fits with one bottom Handguard piece so you can’t fit two individual modules to that upper. Also B-31S has a lowered profile top rail. Same thing with bottom Handguards. B-30 bottoms have multiple versions done with different types of side rails and whatnot.

"Overall a decent rendition of the Zenit rail at a good price point, with one oversight in the design. Works fine if mounted on an AK74, but if mounting on an AK105 with the shorter barrel they have failed to shape the front surface to allow enough room for the front sight/gas port post. Refer to pictures of the Zenimei, TWI, and Asura top rails and you will see how the leading edge at the front of the top rail angles back to clear the front sight. This model by 5KU doesn't do that and it requires some significant grinding/dremeling to work. I would spend the extra money and buy the other models.
